That would be a very inventive and effective mode to kill Trump - a surface to air missile.
The entire event could be wrapped in a shroud of mystery as US FedGov and the Biden Admin claim complete ignorance regarding the source of the missile. They could hold press conferences from now until Doomsday saying the same thing - "We are investigating this incident and we will bring any wrongdoers to Justice. You have the word of the Biden Family's Good Name on that."
Totally stonewall anybody who tries to really find the truth. Totally stonewall any state agency that tries to investigate.
At this point in US history, I wonder whether we can rule out this scenario.

On one hand, you already have urban war zones where the black and Hispanic gangs are fighting it out. They may have trouble taking on the Venezuelans or Salvadorans but they won’t appreciate someone encroaching on their turf.
On the other hand, huge chunks of the country, mainly red states, have people who are heavily armed and probably could dispose of a body if they had to.
