You know what gaslighting means, right? Undermining someone else's reality in order to manipulate them. Speaking the truth isn't gaslighting

You people really think spending 20B and losing 13 American Service Members is worth a shite deal that does nothing to further the interests of the US nor protect it.

Once again, I thought we took out all the nuclear sites last June?

Oh, and not to mention for the upteenth time, Iran had no capability to strike the US. They were an Israel and Europe problem, not ours.

The emotional reaction we are seeing is from people whose identity and self worth is tied up in the idea of American military supremacy and the loss of prestige this outcome will cause to the idea of American military supremacy is an affront to these people’s very identity and self worth.

Here's a detail for you. Before we went in, the Straits were fully open and the 14 American servicemen who lost their lives were in fact, living.

Biden's Afghanistan withdrawal and Obama's Seal Team 6 helicopter flight are screaming at you saying, "Hello"!!!

I just paid $2.97 for gasoline.

You’re a fricking moron if you actually believe this.

A terrorist state with weapons grade uranium isn’t only a threat from a missile standpoint.

Why would you assume that I am a Biden or Obama fan, or a fan these actions? Please tell me you are not some fragile MAGA bot who won't tolerate any criticism of Trump?

It is Obama 2.0 so far and a deal with that regime doesn't mean anything.

withdrawal Facts: trump publicly cancels Obama Iran deal in 2018, calls it terrible we shouldn't have released their funds, etc. Iran then cranks up enrichment. Trump justifies this action saying they're close to a bomb etc etc etc.

Can anyone credibly argue that we are better off with this capitulation of a “deal” than where things stood pre Epic Fury?

Not credibly for sure. But the cult would argue it was fantastic if we would have given Alaska and Hawaii to Iran. Utter delusion has no bounds.

Here are various things I am seeing on Twitter about it

quote:

NEW: The reported 14-point draft Iran–US memorandum proposes:

Immediate and permanent ceasefire across all fronts, including Lebanon.

US commitment not to interfere in Iran’s internal affairs.

End of the naval blockade and reopening of the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days.

US military withdrawal from areas surrounding Iran.

Suspension of oil-related sanctions and restoration of Iran’s access to its revenues.

$300 billion in reconstruction plans/funding from the US and allies.

60 days of negotiations toward a final agreement focused on Iran’s nuclear program and broad sanctions relief.

Iran reaffirms it will not develop nuclear weapons under the NPT.

No new US troops or sanctions during negotiations.

Release of $24 billion in frozen Iranian assets during the negotiation period.

Creation of a monitoring mechanism and UN Security Council endorsement of the final deal.

Missile programs and Iran’s support for regional allied groups would be excluded from the talks.

BIG: Netanyahu told Trump that Israel does not consider itself bound by the Lebanon-related part of the proposed U.S.–Iran agreement.

According to Israeli sources, Israel plans to keep troops in Lebanon, continue operations against Hezbollah, and respond to attacks as needed.

LINK

quote:

Iran’s deputy foreign minister says that the 60 day nuclear negotiation period will start after the US releases frozen Iranian funds.

Additionally, Iran will see sanctions relief if a final agreement is reached, and the two sides will negotiate Iran’s economic redevelopment.

The Strait of Hormuz will be legally run in cooperation between Iran and Oman, according to Iranian state media

Literally no one is defending this deal except those who weren’t going to care about the terms anyway.

So none of us knows what we get out of the deal but they get to sell their oil and make money and say trust us we will sign a deal on Friday. You know if we got a good deal we would be saying what it is. But silence on what we get. It's not really better than the way it was before we went in
