The U.S. capitulated. Iran won.

I remember when Trump tweeted “UNCONDITIONAL SURRENDER.”

Brutal.

Are you hoping one of your Federal Activist Judges can step in and nullify any deal?

Call me cynical but I need to see this hold for a few weeks before I believe it. Way too many volatile actors on all sides.

Is there a single term in this “agreement” that is positive for the United States?

The 2015 deal was based on lies

good for Trump for getting this done

No, concluding a deal that is status quo ante in order to end a war we started is not worthy of praise. It’s abject failure.

Everything I’ve seen so far makes me think about the Canada on Strike episode of South Park where the prime minister negotiates a deal for bubble gum and Bennigan’s coupons and paints it as a massive victory

Since you are clueless, I'll chime in

1 - Iran will not be able to produce nuclear bombs to sell around the world to terrorist organizations

2 - Iran will never threaten USA or Israel with nuclear weapons

3 - 3 (yes, three levels of Iran dictatorship have been killed

4 - and this is the big one .. ready? I know some of you dumb Panican fricks can't handle the truth but here goes ..

Proof that Obama, Hilary Clinton and Biden sold Uranium to Iran for them to build nuclear bombs and Trump is getting that back to send to a lab and when it's confirmed that the uranium came from the USA, it will be the final piece to the grand conspiracy case puzzle that they have been working on now for 2 years. It will be the end of all those involved

It's a win/win in several different categories

I don’t know if I’d go that far, but there’s a whole lot of positive for Iran! Maybe we’ll find out they are erecting a gold statue of Donnie in Tehran. That would explain a lot.

The disaster was Obama's deal.

I know this board can’t stand Obama, but this criticism doesn’t make sense. There was no formal, structured agreement in place before his administration negotiated one.

It’s like taking over a company with zero SOPs --- the first set you implement won’t be perfect, but it’s a starting point. It’s supposed to evolve, get revised, and adapt as conditions change.

The fact that Obama managed to put anything on the table without triggering a war was an achievement in itself. Ideally, whatever Trump has now agreed to will build on that foundation, improve it, and ultimately surpass it. Time will tell.

…and the 300 billion dollars of war reparations and reconstruction.

Is that a win too? If true, taxpayers across this nation should be furious.

No, there isn't. That is why trump never should have got in this war.

So Trump is bragging that he's the only President that could have gotten the Straight opened, yet it was fully open and operational before the attacked them for a senseless war?

So if after all is said and done the regime hasn’t changed and we have no guarantees on what happens to the enriched uranium, what did this escapade actually accomplish?

I’m not sure why anyone downvoted this. It’s a very reasonable and pertinent question.
