I think the note is a good idea….putting Trump on it is a bad idea. I could see people getting these things not for currency, but for a keepsake, which could have a deflationary effect. Putting Trump on the note cuts your potential customer pool in half.

Cool. Zimbabwe had 100 trillion dollar bills. It was just one big party.

IMO it's not even about inflation. It's been long overdue.

Public monies/projects should not be named after living people or imply a tacit endorsement of living people full stop.

My bank's drive up ATM gives nothing lower than a $20. I was stuck behind a woman for a long time when I got out and asked if I could help. She said: "It won't gimme no money and I know I got at least $7 in my account."

These used his mugshot photo.. subtle jab there

I don't agree with Trump creating a bill of himself, but if he did then he should absolutely use the mugshot photo as a jab back at all the lawfare bullshite that still couldn't stop him from getting re-elected.

Assuming the bill actually gets produced, I'm going to grab some to encase and save because they will absolutely be discontinued as soon as democrats get power. The Trump $250 bill will become collectors items.

Why are they just now doing this stuff? The Bicentennial quarters were approved in 1973, and they started being minted and released in 1975.

I realize 250 is not as cool as 200 because of 1 less zero, but having lived through all the Bicentennial hoopla Im disappointed people weren't thinking ahead on this.

But, then, I really wanted 1992 to be a celebration of 500 years since Columbus stumbled upon America.
