Perhaps because the alleged victim is still in Nebraska and didn't have to see Walz' face on the daily while he was just running for and then acting as the governor in Minnesota. That all changed when he stepped onto the national stage as the VP candidate.
There are many reasons why victims of these crimes don't report them. I'm sure there are plenty of legitimate things that can finally trigger them to speak up as well.

If it's all legit, my guess would be some dude living in Alliance, NE or wherever this kid lives as an adult, as long as it's not in Minnesota, wouldn't be bothered by Walz being gov of Minn the same way he'd be bothered by Walz being his VP.

It took me 30+ years to finally tell someone. The biggest problem is when we get molested multiple times we have the tendency to blame ourselves and embarrassed to admit it.

Maybe, but I think it depends on what "something" is and whether or not the whole f'n country got vibes from the MAGA candidate consistent with what was alleged.

Difference is I didn't make it up for political reasons. Blaney Ford couldn't remember where or when it happened. I can tell you every single detail of where I was raped and that's been 50 yrs ago.

I can't answer for others but, if you bring real receipts, I wouldn't. I'd be more outraged that someone I trusted (as much as any politician can be trusted) had done something so terrible.
In this particular case, no real receipts have been brought yet. If they are, I'll believe them. If not, I'll still think Walz is a groomer but no one has proof at the moment.
