That summarizes the entire Biden regime era

The overwhelming majority of pardons and executive orders to “Trump Proof” the White House… supposedly signed by Biden … were likely auto-pen signed by staffers with no Biden involvement or understanding.
This will end up being the biggest scandal in American history. The Dems have the audacity to claim Trump is a threat to democracy?? Good lord. Not a single person making serious US policy was ever on a ballot. The entire Biden White House and Cabinet just said frick democracy, we know best.
The big problem here is this:
There is no law regulating the use of the autopen (neither in the authorizing nor use). The closest case I can find about this is LINK ]Clinton v. City of New York and that's a bit of a stretch. The majority opinion (which included a rare disagreement between Scalia and Thomas) underscored the formal nature of the President’s action in signing legislation, stating that the Constitution assigns this responsibility directly to the President but they stopped well short of getting into the mechanics of how the signature is applied (ie: with or without the use of the autopen) because it had no bearing on the case (which goes to show how little legal framework there is on the subject).
Generally, it's used to sign mostly form-letter responses to rando people who write the White House but has been used for legislation before when the President is travelling (the earliest example I can find is when Obama used it to sign the extension for the Patriot Act in 2011, claiming that timely renewal of it was a matter of national security).
That there is no legal framework is going to make the usurping of it a tough fight. Considering how liberal DC is, it wouldn't shock me to see this get paraded around by the GOP in Congress, but ultimately no one gets even a slap on the wrist as Biden's mental deterioration can be easily used to shield anyone behind "well, he told me to do it but now he just doesn't remember". Ideally, they should be able to produce meeting minutes, emails, etc. with that authorization, but that would assume they were concerned with following the law in the first place.

Unlikely, as from the pics it looks pretty rudimentary, but does the auto-pen have tracking?
Like someone has to sign in and it logs who/when?
Should be pretty fricking easy to figure out who was at the helm of the machine.

We are starting to possibly see the deep state is bigger than we all think. And they are not all dems.

Until at least one deep state actor is sentenced to real jail time for the things done, it’s a waste of time to think anything will be different this time.

The biggest issue is how they could get a court to rule. It would likely take prosecuting one of the pardoned, which is insanely risky politically. Trump's DOJ brings charges against a political enemy that are ultimately ruled illegal and that gets the DEMs everything they ever wanted on the fascism buffet and likely ensures impeachment (legitimately).

Get back to me when anyone of note is charged and convicted.

Common tactic of the left... Accuse the other party of exactly what they are doing.
Posted on 6/2/25 at 8:56 am to Tridentds
Nobody will be charged or go to jail but most of the pardons will be nulled out after the statue of limitations expires assuredly…
Posted on 6/2/25 at 9:04 am to Tridentds
No it won't, just like with any high profile Washington swampy bullshite there will be an investigation and findings, but nothing will change and no one will be held accountable.

Its not a scandal if nothing happens.............
