You people are ridiculous. If Warren were to win, she would look like most of Obama's time in the WH, ineffective due to political stalemate in Congress.

You're understating the significance of putting someone who is essentially a socialist in the WH and will likely not evolve as much as Obama did.

Normalizing Warren's ideology, even if it's held in check by Congress, is absolutely something to fear.

Obama helped get us to the point where multiple nutjobs are competing, legitimately, for the Democratic nod. A fairly major candidate advocated that abortion rights shouldn't be a women's issue because men can have abortions too. What happens if one of them wins it? What does the next round look like? How much money is pumped into places like Georgia and Texas to get the Abrams of the world elected because of the success these zealots have found?

Glad to see you can see through it all. But I suspect the thought of Stacey Abrams running your State did it.

It was the same thing in that election. She was the worst candidate on paper but the one that carried the biggest downside if she did win. And she came damn close, unfortunately.

Obviously the best thing that can happen is to have a new era of fringe leftism beaten back by a population that enthusiastically or reluctantly chooses Donald Trump over what they have to offer.

The second best thing that can happen would be to have legacy old white dude navigate a field of batshit crazy leftists and disappoint the loons en route to a Clintonian-style presidency.

She excites the big city west coast and northeast white liberals but will have little appeal to blacks and Hispanics in swing states or blue collar union voters.

If she gets the nomination Trump wins all that he got in 2016 plus Nevada, Colorado, New Hampshire, Maine, Virginia

Honestly I bet Warren and Bernie are a little frustrated. They were the kings of the radical left a few years ago and now everyone is trying to out-crazy them. Warren may be pretty mild for urban PNW politics, honestly.

She's a populist. She may play well in the heartland

Biden would be much easier to go against. She has some huge socialist programs and that will draw young voters, regardless what us old guys think.

Yes, but she's got some pretty radical stuff that will turn off moderates. She wants open borders, free healthcare for all illegals, universal healthcare, free college, reparations, and she loves all the crazy social justice nonsense. She's going to go so far left to get the nomination that it'll damage her in the long run.

This is a good sign for Warren's camp. She's gone from being at the top of the "never was" list to being the only Dem candidate to pull in that amount of rally attendance since Obama 2008. While I can't see this as an enthusiasm indicator (as with Trump attendance) it does serve to underscore how the media is trying desperately to polish the turd that is Biden's campaign.

It's still waaaaaaaaaaay early and Warren doesn't have the likability factor that translates into voter enthusiasm. She comes across as a hippie Theoretical Physics professor, smelling of Listerine and Patchouli oil, being forced to teach remedial Math while Trump comes across as the bigger-than-life, affable, bumbling uncle that somehow seems to find success under every rock.

*IF* she wins the DNC nomination, I fully expect for some media outlet moron to take Trump's drubbing of her, add his drubbing of Hillary to it and then use that as some sort of ham-fisted narrative about "Trump is a sexist because his Presidential campaigns are against only women".

Just as Bernie learned in ‘16, you have to win the majority in the not-so-socialist states as well. Add in the fact that Warren and Bernie are splitting the progressive vote, and Biden is still the clear front runner.

I think Bernie will give his support to Warren at some point before the primaries get in full swing

If you think Obama’s WH time was ineffective you must either live under a rock or be too young to know the before and after difference or just willfully ignorant.

Obama wasn't nearly as "effective" as the one who preceded him. After he lost the Congress in year 2, he was basically a lame duck.

Your fear-mongering notwithstanding.

15,000 was the report last week on her rally. It was adjusted to 6,000 a few days later.

This is the most people I could find shown at Warrens's "15,000 crowd"

I've seen more people at college kegger.

But Biden would do jack shite and wouldn't be a progressive President, while Warren, if she were to win, would be a disaster that far exceeds Obama.

It's weird that she faced zero consequences for using her fake heritage to get ahead.
