Nope. Trump flipped in March 2024. Yass already had a huge position in ByteDance already. Bought a FlipFlop from Vivek too.

As Donald Trump reverses his position on potentially banning TikTok ahead of an expected House vote this week on legislation that could lead to it being blocked in the U.S., the former president has been rebuilding his relationship with a GOP megadonor who reportedly has a major financial stake in the popular social media platform.

Trump met with the donor, hedge fund manager Jeff Yass, earlier this month at a Club for Growth donor retreat in Palm Beach, Florida, on March 1.
Yass owns Trump’s arse. (Vivek’s too) The TikTokFlipFlop was when I realized Trump was just a regular politician with better tweets. While yall were whispering about shoes… Trump sold out the “america first” agenda right under your noses in the middle of primary season.

The only true winner from the on-going internal wars being waged within the GOP will be the Socialist Dems.

Which is damned sad because the Leftists have already demonstrated time and again their disastrous results when in power, their remaining intentions and the bleak future that awaits this republic under their control.

But as horribly inept and corrupt as the Socialists are, they are blessed and benefit mightily from being “opposed” by the only political party in the world that somehow proves itself even more inept - the GOP.

Pulling defeat from the jaws of victory has been a reliable and regular GOP hallmark since Reagan rode off into the sunset.

Even interludes of perceived “victories” during this 3 decades plus-era have ultimately proven fleeting in nature because the GOP is incapable of sustained success.

This will not matter to the Massie Bots. These are the same people who were formally known as Desantards. It is not about the politician, no matter how much principle they claim to have and no matter how many times they lie about having voted for Trump all three times. For them this is about supporting a candidate they believe can wrangle control of MAGA away from Trump.

Massie is an idealist. To the point where it's hurting himself and his party. I generally agree with his ideas. But he will never advance them being such a hard core idealist.

Trump is pragmatic. Trump is willing to compromise, and even to back off of ideas that aren't working to try a different approach.
