34 candidates / pages to vote on and Talerico vs Paxton is the first page. Nobody starting out voting can avoid tali the Kink vs Pax the eyedroup choice. Do I really want a kink representing me is the choice?
Then you have to pass judgement on the next 33 races, most of whom you do not have a clue, so you pass judgement on the rest of the ticket based on relationship to the kink or the eye droup.
How many county level democrates want to be associated with the kink.
this is the way to turn texas more red.
democrates might have been better off with jasmine

Ballots are ordered in the way of importance of the office
Senate would be first, then Congress; federal offices are going to be first, then statewide, then State district, and then county, then local
theres is no input or massaging the order

I miss the straight ticket option.

Yep. There should be an option to vote straight republican. It’s what most are doing anyway.

We do not have a central government. The reason the US Senate race is first is because they did or do not want Paxton benefitting from Abbott.
Texas controls their elections. Obviously, the body that decides how the ballots are printed are very liberal democrats.
No dem mistake was made. They are hoping this tactic gets Talarico a few extra points due to the 15.732% of voters who are just totally ignorant.

There may be a few Democrats at the local level who are good people and would make good candidates but I just can't bring myself to pull the lever with anyone with a "D" by their name. I will never forgive the Democrat Party for what they did under Obama/Biden and what they now stand for and represent. I wouldn't vote for Democrat for local dog catcher.

The upcoming midterm election results are going to be a good indicator on whether the American people are still clueless low info voters or whether they're beginning to understand the repercussions of giving the DSA and the Red/Green Alliance congressional power.

Amen bro - There is no way anyone who even tolerates the current democrat party could have any moral principles - unless he is so stupid that he cannot take care of himself.
ANY democrat vote - at the national level for sure - is a vote for communist nominees promoting one-party rule.

I early voted in Texas and my ballot was one page front and back and done by marking an oval in pencil next to my candidate of my choice.
I also had to show my ID which I gladly did.
Not sure what your complaint is. Seemed pretty straightforward for anyone with even an average IQ.

White privilege strikes again. How racist of you.

At least it not that Florida Butterfly Ballot again or that old Texas spin the wheel ballot to record your votes.
I plan voting on Election Day. I should have early voted this weekend, but I was still undecided on a local judge race.
