Well, that's kind of my point, put things in context and examine the nuances and causes for the decisions that were made and the resulting impacts.
CRT doesn’t do that. The answer is always race. There’s literally no other answer.

I would love to have a real CRT adherent (or really anyone committed to modern illiberal/antiracist thought) stick around here.
But they won't. These activists don't exist in the marketplace, they can only survive in a hive-mind environment like radical advocacy organizations or academia (but I repeat myself)

What can I do about that?
Is my irrational hatred of that song some of my implicit bias? Did I download the song because of internalized guilt?
I know this is meant to be a joke, but the entire premise of Freudian and subconscious psychology delves into things like this, haha.

French has engaged in a lot of bad/dishonest argument lately, but man, that CRT article is just unreal.
"See it can be helpful because it shows how we can start to ameliorate the impacts of privilege and power disparity!"

What IGNORANCE. Please go read about the Three Fifths Compromise and come back when you have even a fundamental understanding of what it was and what it means.

For me it’s easy.
Either MLK was right or CRT is right.
It can’t be both.
He has to be turning over in his grave.
Don’t judge me for my skin until it’s convenient or helps me in some manner.
Ridiculous

Eh, I would say class is a major prism thru which to see things thru today. But if you are talking about this country's foundational structures, you literally can't separate race from class.

So what am I missing here?:

Do you think the 3/5th's clause is an example of white supremacy or no?

I think you are missing the glaring irony. You said that CRT has its foundations in Marxist ideology therefore everything that comes from it is poisonous.
I'm just point out if you were consistent you would then say that because america has white supremacist roots, then the same would hold true. (which again I don't agree with either).

You baws may find this article from "Scientific" American...interesting to say the least.
Your bible is promoting white supremacy

Sure I can. Do you think slaves would have fared better under any less cohesive confederation of states that would have resulted had there been no constitution or federal system (such as it was)?

i find it valuable. i'm not saying i don't disagree with him on the "power" part, but the idea that a bunch of well off private school kids avoid a criminal record whereas kids from a public school could have the same behavior and result in having a record explains how people could say there's some privilege that comes with being white.
i'm against CRT being taught in schools or in church. i haven't voted democrat since Charlie Stenholm or Chet Edwards and i most likely will never vote democrat again. I think Kendi and DiAngelo are shysters and grifters and Christians who quote them are inviting false teaching in the church.
i'm just saying that wholly rejecting any part of something that may have some truth because you don't like the majority of it is not critical thinking to me.
if y'all think i'm an idiot, that's fine. i agree with you both on 99% of the issues.
Posted on 7/7/21 at 1:02 pm to pawpoints19
You’re missing a big difference. But that’s fine. You’re a dancing bear and a moron.
And your “I’m pro-CRT but not pro-rewriting the Constitution” mask is slipping. Keep it in place, please. Open Marxism is boring. Hidden Marxism is much more engaging.

i like how he went from feigning any knowledge about CRT and it's teachings to full on "America has white supremacist roots" in two pages.

Except a black kid at the private school gets the same benefit (if it even exists, which is questionable and frankly French’s whole narrative seems so bereft of the on-the-ground facts in public and private schools that it makes me think he’s making huge chunks of this up).

Please explain why The U.S. Constitution, Article 1. Section 2 isn't an example of White Supremacy? It literally says that slaves are 3/5 of a person.
