Outside of spending, this is objectively untrue.
Republicans passed tax cuts. Democrats' plan to help inflation is to raise taxes on the rich.
Republicans cut red tape, destroyed USAID, and fought to not pay out fraudulent claims. Democrats raised hell about all of it.
Democrats push defunding the police. Republicans never do. Democrats want you arrested for speech.
Republicans got rid of RvW and implemented heartbeat laws. Democrats want abortion up until birth.
"Both sides are the same" is one of the sillier lies people convince themselves of.

They should vote for Vivek because he's ultimately right, it's just poorly timed and not being received the way he expects it to be.
And that's because the concern around the H1B's are valid. If it's just being used as a mass importing tool, then frick that. And that's what people see, right or wrong.
But if it's actually based on meritocracy, then he's correct. But that should be in very very limited numbers. And they should be small enough to assimilate into the US culture instead of bringing a colony.
Also, this isn't a state issue so it shouldn't really matter. He's not going to be making many decisions on this if any.

There SHOULD BE a cap on any and all immigration, period!
Immigration is destroying the fabric of the entire planet. Just look around and observe, it is awful.....and I have nothing against most other nationalities...but the progressive world leaders are ruining the uniqueness of the world!

You let in the best and while there's no actual cap, there's a de facto cap because there aren't that many that would qualify. Instead of 5 million laborers we end up with 200,000 engineers and scientists.
