Not a DEI hire at all, but… picking Grenell makes it harder for the left to keep claiming mysogynistic, homophobic, racist shite and starts diffusing more of their arguments. That sets up the midterms and 2028.
He already picked the 1st female Chief of Staff which is really seen as the most powerful position in DC after POTUS. Again, she’s not a DEI hire, she’s just the best but it sure as hell starts obliterating some of the left’s inane arguments.

Would prefer to see someone like George Schultz. That sucker could cook and made everyone respect the USA. Was genuinely brilliant. Too bad he passed. I'd take 100 year old Schultz over most of these bubbleheads mentioned.

You can have a strong foreign policy, as Reagan did, without going to war or sending troops in harm's way. Vivek would create wars through his lack of seriousness about foreign policy.

and I have news for you, it is in our interest to stop China everywhere. They are taking over Africa through loan sharking. They help Iran and Venezuela. They are ravaging our oceans of seafood as they destroy every where they go. Then there is Covid and their leaks that shut down the world. China wants to control the world's economy and dictate terms.
