If you can’t take a step back and say objectively that the campaign has been horribly run, essentially since Harris announced, your head is buried in the sand. Drop the race stuff, drop the cackling stuff. It doesn’t play to anyone but his base. His base is going to vote for him no matter. He’s probably got the most loyal base in political history.

Attack her on how radical left her policy is and win over that middle block of moderates.

A reframing was gifted to trump after the assassination attempt. He played it perfectly for 1 week and 20 minutes. After that, it’s been off the rails.

Was he correct when he said that so many Trump voters on this board can't accept any criticism and lash out irrationally? Seems so. There are Trump voters who are not blinded by the man and desperately want him to win, but see the return of a losing strategy. Doesn't make them Romney Republicans or leftists, it suggests they care more than the blind Pollyanna devotee..

The Left uses every low down tactic there is including ASSASINATION attempts, yet Trump is mean for highlighting Kamala's fake blackness which is glaringly obvious to everyone with a brain.

Sometimes it's embarrassing how whiny & cowardly Republicans are. It's like you want to lose. If we had 1/10th the ruthlessness of Democrats, this country would be in a helluva lot better shape than it is now.

The mere mention of something counter to anything, even trivial, results in insults, berating, etc.

SMH

There still some reasonable enough to discuss granular details with a level head though.

That said, they sure don’t like you……

Looks like a lot of scared, panicking people on the political board these days.

It’s a binary world - Trump 1, Harris 0, we must choose. For me, the choice is clear and nothing will change my mind.

The rest of this banter and arguing is just wasted effort.

Trump got 8% of the black vote in 2016 and 12% in 2020. There’s no way he gets 20%.

Obviously speaking from the polls right now, despite the Kamala honeymoon bump with natural response bias to her advantage in the polls Trumps poll numbers are at an all time high in his political career.

If I’m in Trump’s campaign I’m really happy at the direction of the campaign at the moment.

Kamala’s biggest issue is phoniness. She is not a genuine person.

No one voted for her to be the nominee of the Democrat Party. Zero votes.

What a phoney.

Nobody is suggesting cowardice, just stick with what's been winning, exploded daily costs of almost everything and illegal immigration. Tie her to those problems. He needs the timid middle to put away their misgivings about voting for him and recognize that they are worse off under Biden/Harris than they were under Trump.

The whole point of what Trump was telling the crowd was “Look, don’t believe that Kamala is like you. She may act like she is but she doesn’t have your best interests at heart. She’s claiming to be this way for political benefit.” That’s the bottom line of what he did, it just so happens it came in a very contentious, lion’s den type environment and the media spin machine went into full effect to use Trump’s words to benefit Kamala.

Trump won’t sniff 20% of the black vote. Unfortunately, those making noise will be mostly back on the plantation come Election Day.

You do realize by your own statistics he gained 50% each election cycle so another 50% gain would be 18% which is very realistic. I don’t think you understand how math works

You people need to relax. It isn’t like this will be the centerpiece of his campaign all the way until November. He put this out there so everyone will have it in the back of their mind when she is in public. They will be looking to see if he was right. He is going to campaign on policy when it matters.

Sure but that doesn’t go over well with white people who patronize black people and feel as if they need to coddle and empathize with them every step of the way. The reality is the black vote isn’t a needle mover.

It’s so off the rails that I don’t even know what’s going on in this campaign.

Listen, people have had almost 10 years to hear about Trump. Their minds are already made up. Whether you love or hate him isn’t being made up in 2024.

The people that will notice it most now are black journalists, some of which will start writing about it more.
