Or the part where it doesn’t completely destroy on impact but the object let the missile hit it. Figured high tech would be able to not be hit by a hellfire from a drone.

I don't know why. But I think the story of a rogue part of a shadow govt of extreme wealth....Has this technology from the future and alien beings; and it was so rogue congress critters were unaware.

To me this is evidence that the apparent movement of the object is an illusion. The object isn’t moving fast and was busted up by the missile and fluttered down to the ocean.

When I first saw it. I thought of the Anduril Roadrunner, perhaps without a warhead being used as a kinetic kill vehicle.
That would still leave open whatever it is they were shooting at. That would be an interesting target drone.
