No, the Daniel Penny case may have cowed people into inaction against an attacker. But there is no justification for the people who watched an attack happen, saw blood everywhere, watched the victim slump to the floor and bleed out and did NOTHING.
The attacker left the train car. You see one passenger that witnessed the attack get up and appear to follow him. But then you see the attacker wandering around, still holding the bloody knife, talking to himself about how he "Got that white girl." No one is chasing him, no one is yelling or alerting other passengers that there is a murderer still holding a weapon. If the one guy that got up intended to follow him, he must have changed his mind.

That makes more sense. I didn’t mean to downplay the situation I just expected a different reaction based on what I’ve read. I don’t want see her bleeding out so I won’t watched any full video.

I amend my previous statement - the man in the gray sweatshirt I *thought* was getting up to maybe chase the attacker, help disarm him in some way, etc? In this video showing simultaneous angles, you can actually see he passes right by the attacker, says *nothing* to the other passengers and actually moves ahead of him, looks to be leaving the car.
He was just saving himself.

Guy in the gray may have been going to get help? If the media were honest and would just release the videos, blurring out the dying woman out of respect, we wouldn't have to play amateur Twitter sleuths.

She passed out within 18 seconds of the strike. That boy knew exactly how to kill. It's almost as though he was born with this instinct.

Crime can largely be stopped. Look at El Salvador. Democrats (for the most part) allow it to exist. In a sane society this guy would be locked away in an asylum a long time ago.

This is the real reason the video is so jarring. You can explain away a crazed murderer murdering someone.
It’s harder to explain spiritually dead people simply “minding my own business” while someone dies.
Charge all of them.
