Once again, VDH is spot on.

quote:

Stage four is more serious for Canada. The jobs report came out. They’ve lost 41,000 jobs just in one week of the tariff war. We created 160,000 in August. It’s gonna get worse for Canada.

We have, as I said, nine times the population, 13 times the nominal GDP, and Canada is entirely reliant. Seventy-five percent of it is reliant. I don’t say that out of triumphalism or boasting, but in sadness for Canada. I don’t know what they’re doing.

Mr. Carney, who had three passports before he was prime minister, a Canadian, a British, and an Irish. He was the epitome of a globalist, and he wasn’t a nationalist. So his immigration, his energy, his defense policy, and his trade policy were all globalist. They were all European-style, and they didn’t realize or properly exploit the natural gifts of Canada.

So now we’re in stage four, and the Americans are starting to notice something. The Canadians are booing us at sports events between Canadian and American teams. They keep bragging about elbows up, i.e., we’re gonna be like hockey players and defend ourselves from aggressors like you, violent aggressors.

Canada is Blaming USA for its Self-Imposed Pain!!

The Indian replacement of Canada will fix this issue.

See the customer service section at Home Depot or Lowe’s.

Ever since the American Revolution, Britain has been working to get its pound of flesh out of the United States.

I believe Canada is a proxy for the UK to extort billions out of our economy.

Canada should not not exist as a country.

If Benedict Arnold had some backup Canada would be Alaska.

Just a silly place filled with Hindus.

Of course. There are even old monied US families, enriched from their relationship with the British, who own the democratic party. One family of such prominence goes by the name of Harriman. To this day they are loyal to Britain.

Yet, we continue to allow those who are not loyal, at all, to America into America.

Tremendously wealthy. Founded Sun Valley Resort, which is a blip on the radar compared to other business ventures.

I liked Pierre Poilievre. If he had won the election our relations with Canada would be much better.

Think how different of a world we live in today.

The idea that a major political party could be taking the side, explicitly, of a foreign government over our country's government - in a political election on top of that.
I am not talking about criticizing the government for international policies, I am talking about explicitly taking the position, "I am on foreign government X's side against my country's side."
That would have been major news not long ago and the party that did it would be hammered.
But maybe that is just a post WW thing, and it was commonplace before then? I have learned enough during the Trump years to know that things I thought were historical or actually relatively recent.
