Admittedly I’m a moron but I had never given thought to being shot long before arriving.
It just never crossed my mind a dead guy could be riding in the drivers seat.
I thought you had to engage the vehicle every so often so I’d never even assumed this.

Well, yes. The Cyber Truck can do that.
This whole thing is fricky though. I want to apply Occam's Razor but the secondary and tertiary scuttlebutt and mystery are making this look more and more tinfoil hattish.
I despise being at the point where I almost always automatically assume that the spooks are involved. But dammit, the spooks are pretty much always involved.

This is wrong. Full autopilot was disabled by Tesla. In an interview a while back Elon was asked about a video of a guy asleep at the wheel in a Tesla with the auto pilot engaged. He said that because of that video Tesla took steps to ensure it couldn’t happen again. Auto pilot will automatically bring the car to a stop if the vehicle doesn’t receive any feedback from the driver after a certain period of time. Tesla doesn’t want drivers behind the wheel either asleep or in anyway incapacitated.
That means the guy in the cyber truck could not have been shot at point A and the cyber truck autopiloted to point B without the driver occasionally touching the wheel or providing some type of input to the vehicle.

He shot himself then set off the bomb or set off the bomb then shot himself. Both would be hard to do.
He could have had the bomb on a timer but my understanding is Tesla autopilot will stop the car if you are not engaged so it would not have driven him all the way there while he was dead.
The bomb went off within 17 seconds of parking. Maybe he shot himself right as it was pulling up and ignited the bomb at the same time. I guess that is possible but would probably be hard to do.
Also, if he shot himself with a Desert Eagle, would the damage done to his head by a gun of that caliber be distinguishable from damage caused by an explosion? A Desert Eagle would probably explode your head at point blank.
Is this a conspiracy, probably not. Is it odd enough given everything that happened that the information should be questioned, absolutely.

Not at all.
A timer or dead mans switch gives you option A with ease.
Hell...no ones mentioned an actual slow burning fuse...they do exist. Light it, splatter your brains and the bomb still goes off.
It's not rocket science.

According to his linked in, part of his job was rigging remote weapony. I'd guess putting a timer on a bomb wasn't outside the realm of his expertise.
