Who the hell appointed the U.S. as harbor police in the Red Sea?
The US has been very public for generations about guaranteeing the safety of transportation sea lanes. It's one of the reasons our Navy is as large as it is. I'm honestly surprised we haven't cleaned out Yemen because of it before now.

Uh, I am against senseless foreign wars, but keeping the Red Sea open is important.

Trump war cabinet: Hegseth, waltz and Rubio are war hawks neocons.
They all are MIGA without doubt. As is Trump. Yet Rubio has been surprisingly moderate on Ukraine imo. Waltz smells like a rat.

he whole reason Russia invaded Ukraine is because Biden removed deterrence from the equation. Biden was saying not even a full month before Russia rolled in that the only thing they would face is economic sanctions
Who gives a frick? Like seriously, what strategy or alliance we have with Ukraine? Israel?
At some point you either stay out, or face reality that this nation has adopted the idea we NEED to be involved in every fricking conflict.
How did the 20 plus years in Afghanistan make a difference for the guy working in an auto factory in Kentucky?

Was it confirmed the texts were real?

Imagine being such an idiot you would believe this actually happened
National Security Council spokesman Brian Hughes told The Post that the Signal chain that included Goldberg “appears to be an authentic message chain, and we are reviewing how an inadvertent number was added to the chain.” nypost.com
So you are saying the NHS spokesperson who said it appears “authentic” is lying or the report itself is fabricated?
And what the hell is chapping your arse SDV?

Anyone who doesn’t understand this doesn’t understand the strategy and fact that Trump knows he only has 3.5 years to address it.

They have been attacking US flagged ships
I thought this was common knowledge. Didn’t they do some damage to one of them?
I think that deserves getting your arse destroyed.

Anyone who disagrees with SDV is stupid. It's his go to move. In reality he's a moron who can't get his boat out of its slip

I would much prefer if the 1+ million combined casualties of Russia and Ukraine never became casualties to begin with
If the cackler were POTUS we would probably have the honor of getting to send Ukraine a trillion to rebuild their infrastructure as icing on the cake

Well then how about the EU build a bigger NAVY then?
The shipping routes between Europe-Middle East-Asia are the shipping lanes most impacted by this latest war.

The most telling response was Hegseth saying they had to push BS talking points to flood the narrative instead of explaining what was going on
Posted on 3/24/25 at 8:19 pm to Toomer Deplorable
The mistake he’s referencing appears to be the inability to make the public understand why it’s necessary to mist some rocket launching goat humpers.
The media will make it an issue regardless if it is the right course or not.

I’ve always like SDV. He is a tad bit excitable though.

I can see both sides.

Yet three years later, hundreds of thousands of dead Russians, ZERO dead US servicemen, and negligible territorial gains by Russia, it’s time to pull the plug.
You left out hundreds of thousands of dead Ukrainians.

Unless a U.S. flagged ship was attacked,
The Houthis have been attempting to attack American ships for months. It’s gotten so bad that most US flagged vessels take the long way around Africa.. That increases prices on everything for Americans.

The Houthis attacked our navy 147 times. I think most people would readily understand the need to defend ourselves.
