Vaccinated being as contagious as non should gut the argument for mandates

The entire argument for mandating is that somehow, the unvaccinated are presenting a risk to everyone else.
But if the only benefit to being vaccinated is that you are personally less likely to get a bad case of COVID, but you're still just as contagious, what's the argument for forcing someone else to get vaccinated?
Shouldn't that just revert back to "you take what risk you're willing to take and I'll take what risk I'm willing to take"?

We all suspect it may be true but it is a long way from being proven (even in our world of news… let alone the mainstream / big tech propaganda that is spit out).
I’ve got a decent amount of intelligent and successful friends on my Facebook who are still pushing stale old pro vaccine narratives - it’s scary what zombies they are.

You would think so, but here we are.
The federal government can now not only force you to buy health insurance, they can force you to take certain pharmaceuticals with no legal recourse for you whatsoever. Isnt this fascism? Where's ANTIFA?!?!

The argument for mandating was because supposedly, being non-vaxxed made you a threat to others which, clearly, isn't the case(any more than if you get vaxxed)

But, even if I grant them their argument of "we need protection from the unwashed masses of unvaxxed", that argument seems to be completely dead now.
So, even using their logic, there should no longer be mandates.

They are going to say from keeping the hospitals overloaded with patients. Not enough personnel to handle it.

What hospital do you work at Lib? The girlfriend works the Covid floor in one of the busiest in the state of NC. And oddly enough, she does not even remotely support your statement. But she also refuses to get that bullshite vaccine.
You do realize roughly 50% (see what I did there when unsure of the actual % in my statement) of Covid positives aren't actual Covid positives, right......\thread stays open...BITCH

That isnt true, but lets assume it is. Large proportions of hospitalized patients are fat, old, smokers, drinkers, or a combination there within. Do we ban fatty food, booze, tobacco?? Do we force people to exercise or buy diet pills? Nicotine patches, or go to AA meetings?

I could use that logic to MANDATE tons of Americans go on a calorie restricted diet.
Even at the height of COVID, you can bet that most hospital beds are NOT taken up by COVID patients.
Heck, at a certain level of obesity, I could probably use that logic to mandate stomach stapling surgery!
