USS Kennedy
USS Independence
They finally moved them around. It was stupidity, what were they thinking.
I wonder if there are pictures? I returned to NOB and amphib base little creek and NOB is COSTCO now or it was years ago after the decomm.

I was on the USNS Sirius (T-AFS 8) back then. We resupplied all 4 of them during various Med cruises. Being on a MILDET crew on a MSC ship was the best sea duty ever!
