Didn’t see a thread on this on pg 1. Has this been discussed?

Lots of headlines about how troop morale is low due to fatigue. Record long deployment. Even reports of some US sailors trying to jump overboard.

Sounds like there are Senators calling for an inquiry…Food shortages, broken plumbing. Doesn’t sound good.

And now it is scheduled to be replaced by the USS George Washington.

Who would have thought. Maybe we should not put a TV personality in charge of the military.

Hell no, I’m against reparations for Iran.
But WTF? We have to support our troops.

More anti US propaganda.

Military life is rough. They know that when the join. Should not join if the can’t handle life on a boat at war.

I need to know what exactly qualifies as an "attempt" to jump overboard. You either do or you don't, it's not difficult.

Threads like these are good for flushing out the low lives who revel in the perceived suffering of the US military. Fortunately the story is complete bullshite.

Need to find out who is violating the code of conduct and getting this information out. Can’t be too bad if coms are still open …

Not really. They’ve been breaking records with these carrier deployments.

Military Times article discusses other sailors intervening to pull them back onto the deck.

Stars and Stripes has an article that discusses the poor mental health conditions and food and water shortages.

The fact they’re not in river city and this is less than a fraction of a percent shows it’s bullshite.

Both are propaganda outlets.
