Maybe so, but this is could also be a ruse to get the US involved to broker some sort of agreement.

Iran has sure as hell been doing a lot of blustering but they haven't done shite yet. Probably because we have a guided missile submarine sitting not too far away, armed with 150 tomahawk cruise missiles, ready to strike if Iran decides to push a button.

The Mullahs have been completely humiliated. Their choice now is death and regime change or backing down and surviving. There is a reason we have aircraft carriers with missile detection systems in the region. Iran knows they don’t have a chance in hell.
Iran would lose their economy, their seats of government, their supply chain, their refineries, their internet and power grid in a weekend.
Don’t think the aren’t scared SHITLESS right now. They fire missiles and the Mullahs are finished forever. Israel will hunt down and destroy thousands of missile launchers and head back to Israel and Iran will have nothing besides empty bluster. That’s the likeliest scenario.

However, medium range ballistic missiles are a whole other ball game. Iron Dome can handle ballistic delivery systems and Arrow is specifically for ballistics. So unless Iran launches a very impressive barrage their missiles will probably fail. That's why they desperately want nuclear warheads so they can airburst detonate above the interceptors capability.
One of the issues for firing even a single ballistic missile that can reach the Mediterranean, even if it fails, is that they aren't supposed to have them; Obama/Biden paid terrorists alot of money not to have them.
The other key issue if they fire one that reaches the Red Sea or Med, from Iran, it might change our naval posture. And that is probably the most important support, maybe the only real-effective support, the US is providing right now is detection and interception. If our naval posture has to change, that might too.
