Why would we allow China, Russia, Iran, and other hostile regimes to control land in the United States?"
"It makes zero sense why we would allow our enemies to own AMERICAN land. It should never have been allowed in the first place."

Foreigners (individuals or governments) should be banned from owning property in the United States. Period.

Missouri is doing it.
AI Overview As of late 2025, Missouri is moving to seize over 42,000 acres of farmland owned by Chinese entities to satisfy a $24 billion lawsuit judgment related to COVID-19. Most of this land is held by Smithfield Foods, a subsidiary of the Chinese-owned WH Group, following 2013 purchases. Missouri has since enacted a ban on further sales of agricultural land to Chinese interests near military bases.

Should not just be foreign adversaries.
Should be foreign, period.
But it's a good start.

Oh man.... therein loes the problem. I was a critic of Mike Johnson, but he's been getting shite done. It's those old fricks in the Senate that seem to be the obstacle.

Stellantis is based in Italy. They for sure should be forced to sell all their US holdings that produce shitty Chrysler and Jeep products.
Or are you dumb enough, like Mamdani, to think that property will all of a sudden not be "sold" to corporate entities or shell companies to avoid taxes and restrictions on ownership?

A Democrat controlled House will reverse this bill.

China has been buying up Alfalfa farms out west like crazy. They import it heavy for their dairy farms and in recent years started to buy them up to control the market.

Smithfield Farms, the largest pork producing farm in the USA, was sold in September 2013 to China with the unanimous support of its stockholders.
The hogs will still be raised here, but slaughtered and packaged for sale there before being sent back here. This includes labels of:
