re: US hosts 2026 World Cup. Wonder if they'll have enough time to clean up these cities?

Nashville being left out of hosting in favor of Kansas City is just ridiculous.

Why? KC has a much larger soccer presence and much better food.

Clark Hunt, who owns the KC Chiefs & FC Dallas, has a ton of pull in US Soccer. He is the main reason KC got picked over bigger cities.

Almost ALL of these cities have major problems with their cities between drugs, crime, etc.

These cities pale in comparison to some of the shitholes that have hosted the WC. In fact, they actually picked really well to be fair. Just about all of those places are great at hosting major sporting events.

They can have Houston's spot. We have enough 'visitors' as it is.

I'm certain it's not KC Sports Park. That seats less than 20k I believe. It would be Arrowhead

Yeah, KC is WILD about their MLS team and they have a viable venue with the Chiefs

Most of the stadiums being used for these aren't in the "bad part of the city", so easier to manage/hide.

Biggest thing will how bad they will ghey up these tournament. The ghey mafia has definetly has their talons in US Soccer.

Since “almost all” of those cities have problems please give us a list of cities and towns that don’t have crime, drugs, etc… that you think can handle the biggest event in all of sports. Because that’s what the World Cup is. Good luck.

No other country has to share their sites to host the WC. That’s the only way FIFA would let the US host again. Russia didn’t. France didn’t. South Africa didn’t. Qatar didn’t. Total crap from FIFA.

That's because they hosted a 32 team field, not the 48 it's going to be in 2026 and beyond

All of the 2030 bids are multi-country

Aside from Gracie Hunt, I can’t think of a damn thing good about KC.

Let me rephrase then: One of those cities is not like the other, clearly.
