US hosts 2026 World Cup. Wonder if they'll have enough time to clean up these cities?

Almost ALL of these cities have major problems with their cities between drugs, crime, etc.

Will we see all of this on the broadcasts during the World Cup or will they hide it all when the cameras are running like we've seen before?

Lastly, Kansas City being on the list is seemingly not like the others?

There are one or two other cities that aren't shitholes.

I am surprised Las Vegas didn’t get a bid accepted. Would have been better than San Fran or LA.

Vegas would have been a nice one for sure.

No other country has to share their sites to host the WC. That’s the only way FIFA would let the US host again. Russia didn’t. France didn’t. South Africa didn’t. Qatar didn’t. Total crap from FIFA.

FWIW, Mexico has enough quality sites to host on their own.

Why? It's right in the middle of the country.

Makes more sense to have the World Cup in countries that already have the infrastructure in place

Soccer is crazy popular in KC, their MLS team is heavily supported

They will do the same thing they did to the streets before Biden's visit.

They will also have a shitload of police there. They will claim it's for the event but it's really to quell all of the crime.

After they hosted the last two in the slums of Russia and non-alcoholic Qatar, we don’t have to try very hard to look good.

The lack of diversity in these locations is stunning.

They wanted Vegas very badly but the screwed up when building the stadium because they can’t get the correct size of a soccer field into their stadium
