It would be funny to find out it wasn’t a drug boat
Do you really think with today’s technology they didn’t monitor the boat long enough to verify?

This is a great precedent. Now, every country can just label boats in international waters “terrorists” and “threats to national security” and blow them up!

some intense interrogation

Why? The suckers in the boats don't know anything. They're just expendable pawns.

Do you really think that would matter to the cultists?

They would already have the patsy killed in the Charlie case.

Hey pussy, if they weren't exactly who the admin says they are then there would be no survivors.

You clowns really are just fricking stupid.

Or maybe they needed “survivors” to “claim” those actually were drug runners to “justify” the attack?

There it is. This thing you just made up will be coded as fact in your brain now. That's how you people operate.

Well I guess I could just listen to media and government and code that as fact into my brain. Is that what you’re suggesting?

If there are survivors then something went wrong with the strike.

Someone on this board said they use kinetic missiles. There are no explosives.

Not sure if true.

You do you, fam. Never seen you before. My basket of annoying posters I pay attention to is full at the moment.

My one piece of advice, generally, is to avoid planting roots on a side of any issue or story until you've received sufficient, legitimate evidence, in whatever form that may take. Especially don't let your emotions tell you the tale. Otherwose you're stuck defending positions you haven't even fully vetted.

Or don't.

They haven't been blowing up every drug boat they see. They've stopped, boarded, and arrested those onboard of a whole lot more than they've blown up. They take the runners into custody and seize the drugs. The Feds have to keep up their own supply somehow.*

*Allegedly

And now Venezuela knows how seriously we take our daily limits.

I'm sure that's all there is to their ROE and verification flow.

We have a small navy down there with satellites and intelligence on the ground. We know who is loading the boat, who is driving the boat, and where it was going. This is a war on drugs and we will win.
