i cant imagine why branding portion of your recruiting base as "white nationalists and a domestic terroristic threat" or by pushing trans agenda and diversity would hurt recruitment.......

A big problem is MHS Genesis. When I was a recruiter I’d screen and I could “hide” some past medical information. I never hid anything crazy like adhd, mental issues, etc. but a kid going to a counselor for parent’s divorce is technically psych. This new system can pull all kids medical records automatically disqualifying them for MEPS. So back then I just wouldn’t include it. Now they do and there really is a small percent of actual qualified applicants.

Yeah, I’m fine with criticizing the civilian and senior military leadership.
What I don’t get is the glee with which so many posters run down those who are actually stepping up to serve now.
Those of us with kids going into the military today could do without being told they are part of the problem.
