Yeah I think that's a logical disconnect when it comes to choosing gov't representatives. I don't view them as avatars of morality, so their extracurricular gallivanting/trysts make no difference to me, but if it's egregious enough to preclude a contemporary vote, having that on their record should be just as much a deterrent, IMO.

The establishment begging the 20 to fall in line (on C-SPAN) is nauseating. Basically saying they haven't heard a single good reason why the dissenters are refusing KMc, however they (GOPe) haven't given a single reason why KMc is their choice... other than "McCarthy will let you be as conservative as you want to be!"
