yes there on their doorstep because bush put them there as a provocation a silent act of war more or less when obama threatened to put ukraine on their doorstep russia said no.
what you're not understanding is i don't care what putin does to countries who have historically been part of russia for 1000 years estonia has 1.3 million people in area 1/3 the size of arkansas. so i don't care what happens to it i only care what could potentially happen to my home in arkansas because of it, which means my garden of phucks to give is barren.

Russia didn’t invade a country…they took back what has been theirs since the 10th Century until USSR gave it away in the 20th Century.
Read your history books and not the one’s published by CNN.

It’s funny how Putin never had an issue with Ukraine until his puppet was kicked out and the Wests puppet was installed.

If someone invaded the US, how much Ukrainian tax money would be sent our way?
Here’s a hint: it rhymes with hero

Let's try this once more:
You stated in this thread that it's like people have never cracked open a history book. You were describing yourself. You are full of ignorance in this.
This is prior to Russia taking land in 2014.
Do I need to to point out..... What am I thinking. I do need to point it out to you. There is a reason that question was about the Ukraine and Georgia joining NATO.
Look it up.
What's your friggin problem with peace?
So this is all fake??
How JFK stopped the crisis:
Kennedy met with advisors in secret to discuss the crisis
Kennedy decided to impose a naval blockade around Cuba
Kennedy gave Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev an ultimatum to remove the missiles
Khrushchev agreed to remove the missiles, and the US agreed not to invade Cuba
Are you saying that did not happen? Please say that you are saying that.
We would have INVADED had they not complied.
We aren't supporting him in anything. In fact, he currently has been sanctioned by the world.
No we are not. Your continue to be over the top so much that you are hyper emotional without rational thought.
You claimed we are all on Putin's side. Still have yet to back off that.

Not provoke a war with the threat of parking a NATO member on Russia's border.
That bullshite can't be taken seriously. NATO is a defensive pact. If Putin had no plans to invade Ukraine, NATO on his border wouldn't matter.

He doesn’t want peace bro. His party has become the party of forever war and the MIC. He can’t articulate why he loves war, but he was told to love it so he loves it

Zelensky naps instead of meeting with the US on a peace resolution -an openly disrespectful snub- and fricking retards like Boosie and Harry scold Trump for being too hard on him.

That's one way to look at it when you listen to all Western media sources but the people in Eastern Ukraine have been so poorly treated by Kiev that they see Russia as a liberator.

There isnt a single country on earth that would come to our aid. Who has a military capable of doing so? The European countries don’t have squat for militaries.

we've done a pretty amazing job of purging the neocon's and they found a comfy new home in the democrat party forever war just doesn't sell anymore to people who actually vote for republicans. it's been amazing to watch liz and dick cheney are now lefties.

I absolutely love the “unlawful invasion” narrative. As if Russia or the US are subject to some higher global justice system that makes war illegal. Maybe the global police can arrest Putin and take him to global trial! That’ll teach him.
I’ve never heard such naive shite and I’ve been here a while.

Fun fact. Russia came to the aid of the North in the civil war in the form of warships protecting ports in NY and SF. The payment for these services was 7MM. Alaska, then worthless to Russias interests and virtually unmanageable from St Petersburg, was given to the US to mask the transaction from the British.

Your boy Zelensky was counting on Cumguzzla Harris to win and the gravy train of US tax dollars to keep flowing. Now that Trump is in charge he’s backed into a corner and crying like a little bitch that he can’t dictate to the US.
That POS Zelensky will sit down and STFU and listen to Trump if he wants to live. If he tries to go this war alone, without US involvement, he’s signing his own death warrant. If the Russians catch up with him they’ll Osama Bin Laden his little dumbass.

Why is Trump meeting with Putin without any Ukraine representatives present?
Trump is representing the interests of the U.S. Why would he need a Ukranian rep for that?

Not fake so much as just American propaganda.
The US put Jupiter nuclear missiles in Turkey. Khrushchev responds by putting missiles in Cuba. The US mobilizes, the USSR does NOT. (That's key) Khrushchev tells JFK he'll take the missiles out of Cuba if the US takes its missiles out of Turkey. The US agrees only if the USSR lets the US withdraw the missiles in secret after the Cuban missiles are withdrawn. Khrushchev agrees knowing that JFK needs the press, while Khrushchev does not. Khrushchev takes the missiles out of Cuba, and by April, 1963, the Jupiter missiles were removed from Turkey.
Washington, D.C., April 20, 2023 - Sixty years ago, during April 1963, the U.S. Air Force took steps to implement the final stage of the secret U.S.-Soviet deal that helped resolve the Cuban Missile Crisis with the dismantling of the Jupiter missiles deployed in Italy and Turkey. While Air Force leaders had no knowledge of the secret agreement, they had instructions from the Defense Department and the Joint Chiefs of Staff to remove the Jupiters and to render them “unidentifiable,” according to the Air Force’s declassified “Plan for the Withdrawal and Disposition” of the Jupiter system published here today for the first time by the National Security Archive. The Air Force dubbed the dismantling operations Pot Pie I (Italy) and Pot Pie II (Turkey).

The so-called "Cuban Missile Crisis" was never what you thought it was. As a matter of fact, the US and USSR came closer to war in 1983 than they did in 1962.
JFK was a young naive pill head and Khrushchev played him like a puppet.
