Precisely. You don't point a gun at someone unless you're willing to pull the trigger.

First rule of gun safety besides treating every gun like it’s loaded. This idiot had it coming. Imagine being the driver getting surrounded by a mob with them beating on your car and a person pointing an assault weapon at you. Surprised no one else was shot.

And the John Wayne dumass firing off rounds at the car needs to be arrested and charged. That was the only criminal action that took place.

Is there an agreed upon timeline yet for who fired at whom when?

Yesterday it was still along political lines what everyone believed happened.

Yikes, that still is probably why the guys in the car were released.

Dipshit drives into a protest and possibly grazes some people at low speed. Unquestionably a douche move, but the “victim” walks up holding his gun like he’s patrolling/clearing a building. This is clearly an intimidation move, so the driver, while still a dipshit for the previous driving into a crowd, is well within his rights to feel threatened and protect himself.

Everyone sucks, but I don’t think the guy(s) in the car should be charged. The victim was more responsible for his own death imo.

This seems to be it:

quote:

According to an initial investigation of the incident, Manley said, the motorist shot Foster, who was carrying a rifle “and may have pointed his weapon at the driver of this vehicle prior to being shot.” As the motorist began driving away, the police chief said, an individual in the crowd drew a concealed handgun and fired shots at the car.

Manley said that after the incident, APD received a call from the driver, who said they had shot someone and driven away. Police then detained the individual, who was brought back to police headquarters for interviewing.

Both the driver and the guy in the crowd have been released.

1 why the frick are people in cars targets?

I wondered about that at first; you’re in the damned road in an unsanctioned march. You’re bound to encounter cars, and some of the drivers might even support your cause. People drive on roads; that’s why we build them. Yet they swarm like monkeys every time a car enters “their” space. Every. Time.

Only conclusion I can reach is that they’re showing you how you deserve to be treated if you’re not actively on their side. Just like the guys yelling from the window who got their windows busted, verbal support is meaningless. If you’re not on the street with them you deserve violence. Good to know.

The false premise these BLM flunkies are operating under is that their First Amendment right to assembly (PEACEFULLY, MOTHERfrickERS) also conveys the right to do so at the time and place of their choosing.

This is not the case.

What basis exactly are you using to ascribe motive to the driver of the car? If the driver intended to plow through protesters, why were none of them hit? Further, why did he stop suddenly when he rounded the corner where the majority of the group was?

It's just as likely that he was driving on mental auto-pilot, like many of us are apt to do, not actively scanning the night for roving groups of protesters illegally marching down his chosen route.

Following the initial shooting, an individual, who heard the exchange of gunfire and observed the vehicle driving away from the crowd, drew their concealed handgun and fired multiple shots at the vehicle as it drove away. That subject was also brought to the homicide office to be interviewed. Foster’s rifle and the subject’s handgun were secured as evidence.

What charges is this person facing?

Needs to be charged. You don't just shoot at a fricking car for no reason, and that was not taught in my CC class.

I fricking love this. Darwin at its finest. We have to hear about crazy right wingers dressed as militants etc, Dems always question their gun safety. Then we hear about how Progs will start to arm themselves now. Its cute how they wear the same camo stuff but its obvious they are way behind the curve.
As in: you don't point a weapon at someone unless you plan to use it, only some dumb arse Dem would think differently. Yet as one poster mentioned be mindful of who you point that at because people will take it as a threat and kill you.
Secondly, do not stop for protestors. Drive straight through that or there is a high chance you will be killed.

Dumb as fricking Dems thinking they can play w guns and win. We train for this you dumb fricks.

I didn’t say or imply he was looking to hit people.

I think it’s clear he either accidentally did bump someone or came very close to it. That’s why the dude tried to act like a hardass with his rifle.

If a car starts riding through a group, I can definitely understand why people would feel threatened. But since the guy didn’t further try to run through or hurt them, I feel the crowd and definitely the wheelchair pusher greatly overreacted.

It’s all avoided if he just waits for the crowd to pass before trying to drive through on a street that’s had a march every night for over a month, but he is still justified in the shooting imo and shouldn’t be charged.

I do wonder how many protesters blocking roads as a viable protest strategy are opposed to those who try to block abortion clinics

LOL, so the kid who quipped on camera that "they are too big of pussies to use guns" ate the old lead sandwich and never got a shot off himself? Classic.
