You are correct. The first five shots are from a heavier caliber round. The last 3 from what sounds more like a pistol round.
The scenario of AK guy firing 5 rounds and the driver returning fire is plausible based on the sounds. Expended AK brass would confirm it.
Regardless of whether he fired warning shots or towards the car, he's dead because he was stupid.
Can we get this thread back on track and compare the sounds of different calibers? I want to learn more about reports and echos.
