It wasn't always this way. When I was younger there were many people like me and most people who used the word libertarian around themselves were what I would have called Conservitarian
But now we have this entire class of people who are just using the word but once you examine their actual positions they are pretty much indistinguishable from Democrats
You know the ones. So-called Libertarians who support nearly every massive new program Democrats propose from Healthcare to free college education.
Frankly it just seems like another example a liberals trying to avoid calling themselves what they are. For my entire adult life conservatives have happily called themselves conservative. But liberals have developed a constant stream of euphemisms

Is that correct? And I used “protestor” as loosely as possible.
to the best of everyone's knowledge... the driver has not been charged with anything as of yet
he was "detained"... which is different than being arrested... and had been cooperating with police
so he had gone down to APD HQ and was being questioned by homicide detectives
but as of right now he doesn't face any charges we're aware of and thus shouldn't be in jail

Not sure if Texas has this law but is it possible that everyone that mobbed that car can be charged with homicide? Group of people surround a car, mob then shoots at said car and driver returns fire killing attacker. Seems that would stop some of this blocking the road nonsense.

The thing that is most interesting is, if these were indeed warning shots, this Ak-47 moron put all the other lives in danger, b/c he should have known the driver might have been spooked and had no other choice but to accelerate in a panic and put many other lives in danger with the car.
Some of these protesters are so dumb it's almost like they are on a suicide mission. Maybe not even an intentional "suicide by cop" style suicide mission but a mission of, my life isn't worth living anyway so I don't care the outcome of my actions.
The girls in Seattle that got mowed down on i-5 had to be b/c clearly they changed direction and started walking toward the car the instant they saw it clear the van. These folks dying acting like fools are getting exactly what they deserve but sadly so many people that don't see the big picture don't understand that.

while yes... good in practice... I'm sure the detectives have seen the video and if he's able to give the detectives a solid narration of what's going on in the video that would probably help him most
