COVID Vaccine walkout or COVID outbreak? DFW ATC had a few of the latter last year (friend works there; he retires in 20 days).

Because some people will only do some good things if forced to do it. Hence the need for mandates.

Prior to mRNA vaccines, anytime most people were required to receive an immunization, we did so as a condition prior to engaging in that activity. If an injection was required, we had many years of data about the substance that helped identify short and long term adverse effects.

Well in that case let's start mandating 5-mile jogs and people taking a specific amount of vitamins every morning. If you fail to participate you lose your job, your home, etc.

Heck, even mandating arm-lifts as a form of exercise could be an improvement, right?



And that's well before getting into parsing what defines "good" nor even who gets to define it and why.

What a fricking utopia.

It is very bad policy to force vaccines on private businesses.

The government SHOULD force vaccines on welfare healthcare recipients.

Air Traffic Controllers are part of the Executive Branch and technically work for Biden. He has mandated all controllers get vaccinated. If the sick outs continue, it's going to get pretty ugly.

I think I was impacted by this. Our plane was in line that day for takeoff after a BRIEF shutdown for a passing t-storm. We were 19th in line to take off, but the pilot told us over the PA system that instead of the normal spacing of 1-2 minutes between planes, they were requiring 7-8 minutes which meant we would be sitting on the runway a long time.(maybe the increased spacing due to lack of ATCs???) Finally, after 3 hrs we were told that FAA regulations forbid keeping people on a plane past 3 hrs. We were taken back to the terminal, deplaned, and the flight was canceled.
