While I disagree to a certain extent, they certainly help with severity and the resulting impact on hospitalizations.

A great many commercial pilots are ex-military, and I would assume ATC people are also.
They are no longer beholden to the Marxist insurrectionists, and know what is happening.
They also have more balls than most of your average citizenry due to military experience.

Measles vaccine means I don’t get the measles.
Polio vaccine means I don’t get polio.
Covid vaccine means…if I catch it, the symptoms might be less severe. Meanwhile, MOST people that catch it have… wait for it…minor symptoms.
I’ve had worse hangovers than covid.

Polio kills you or fricks you up. Smallpox Kills you.
Measles etc can kill kids.
Covid has a 99.5+ survival rate depending on a persons health and comorbidities. We all know Covid can kill you. Not denying that
Why a mandate? Those in danger get the vaccine, Cool. Other's, why the mandate? Just as much chance of getting struck by lightning or dying in a car wreck as dying from this Pandemic.
Another question. If this pandemic is so bad why are they firing Healthcare Workers for not getting vaxed? They would need workers, right? Do we have that many professionals that can just step in and take the jobs?
It must not be as bad as they claim as any reasonable person could surmise from those facts?

No. Once you get the virus, your chance of being hospitalized or dying isn’t drastically different vaccinated or unvaccinated.
