The problem with spiking house prices is that you create a public health problem with all of the homeless. Public housing is a social good meant to alleviate that problem. The issue isn't with the housing, it's the poor property management and lack of police presence in the area.

We spend money on far worse shite in this country

I would imagine a lot of the budget will be on long overdue maintenance and refurbishment of some of these places

Go figure the extreme poor don't have enough money to do routine maintenance...

Where is your proof of this? You're just making assumptions at this point.

Great, so now the govt is gonna compete with private sector for hard to get construction materials...

My bet is that the government will start buying up existing apartment complexes in affluent areas and start moving shitbirds in.

When will anyone on the left learn that public housing is a massive failure as a whole. I am sure it has helped those in real need, but it has created generation after generation of dependency and an Avenue of great corruption.

They could throw trillions each year at welfare programs and it will never be enough or fix any of the real issues.

You are 100% correct. And it’s happening nationally at this moment.

This is a good thing. There is virtually no where to white flight to in the world anymore. People will finally get to see what those people they called horrible for saying such mean things about stuff like ethnonationalism warned them about.

Biden, himself said it. He wants to federalize local zoning.

Not this time.

This is aimed at putting the projects in the suburbs.

You don't think they haven't been putting them in the burbs up till now? Case in point: Dekalb County Georgia had the highest per capita income of any county south of the Mason Dixon Line circa 1970s. The goobermint started throwing up projects in nearly all-white localities like Stone Mountain, Lithonia, Clarkston, and 50 years later with a few exceptions here and there, it's a god damn slum. And it's the same in any number of formerly affluent burbs all over the country.

The destruction of white middle-class America has been an ongoing and deliberate process on the part of the government since at least the 1960s.

So they'll be building more cheaply built housing, so they can give Jim Biden contracts and he can funnel off billions to the family. Also explains why they need craploads of new illegals, that's who will be building that shite.

This right here they are already trying to rewrite Zoning codes to put more multi family homes in nice neighborhoods and they also want govt funded section 8 housing mixed in with the nicer neighborhoods

Section 42 and section 8 will get a complete overhaul - the days of developer windfalls are rapidly winding to a conclusion.

If you are a town or municipality, do not approve a single development right now - better deals for the public will come of this.

Thy said, it will still be bad - just not as bad as the current crop of 42 and 8 developers.
