So she essentially takes a 6 month vacation (knowing she can't work while on that visa), has blown through her savings, so now she wants Canadians to chip in for her vacation (free or below market rent). How do people get so twisted?

The area that her and her partner have chosen to live at is in mountainous oceanfront area with beautiful views. They need to be trying to rent a van down by the river. All houses around where they are run multiple millions of dollars.
