Unless the entire state of CA is in on the parody, no, unfortunately that is just an average voter out there.

Why do medical school students need lecturing on anything other than medical knowledge?

The Free Beacon said that during a Gray-Garcia’s first call to prayer by kneeling, only half of students went to the ground, and that on Gray-Garcia’s second call to prayer by standing up, only one student remained sitting, leading a UCLA administrator to allegedly seek that student’s identity on the spot.
Someone’s about to get expelled…
Well if this shite panned out the way the article says it did. Then more like free tuition.

This has a lot to do with the liberal belief that everyone is valuable. Sure, you're an Asian that has maintained a 4.0 grade average from kindergarten to medical school. You're at the top of your class. But did you know that *even you* could learn something from a homeless drug addict straight from the penitentiary? It's true! Just listen to these points of view - we bet nobody in your circle has lectured you on these points before. EVERYONE has something to offer!

You literally have to submit and kneel to liberalism and woke ideals or you will be broken.

You have got to be clinically retarded to vote Democrat these days.
Sad part today is the average DEM doesn't even know this is going on. They don't see this in their social media accts bc they subscribe to other feeds. I think if the average DEM saw the full on stupidity they would have to check themselves. I know a couple full on DEMS and they have no clue what their part is up to. When I asked about it they look at me like "that's not going on, we wouldn't do that".

Doubtful because most comedy clubs wouldn’t have allowed something like this on stage for their “writers” to steal.

Medical knowledge is the easiest part of medicine. There definitely needs to be some recognition of some social factors: ie- sleep patterns and adherence to 3 time daily medications in shift workers vs 9-5ers is different. The decision to offer surgery vs medication to an indigent patient based on their postoperative needs is different than the white collar guy with 3y of accrued sick days. The existence of the $4 List at Wal Mart and how to treat patients who need the most available medication, not the best available medication (that they can’t afford) are all crucially important to taking care of people. Learning “how the other half” lives is really important, too. A ton of doctors come from nuclear families that didn’t question if they would be fed that day. There are a lot of problems that medicine won’t ever fix. And learning how to recognize them makes you a lot better at it. There are a ton of ways to accomplish it, probably the main one being the teaching hospital system where the indigent are welcomed (and subsidized by either the state or some other charitable organization or both).
Another interesting way of introducing very complex situations:
Our psych department used to invite patients with particular illnesses to come speak to the class. So, we had a 15-30 minute episode of a schizophrenic more or less telling his life story then fielding questions. We had a bipolar patient who was doing well come talk about what it was like to be manic. We had a patient with social anxiety cancel at the last second instead of standing in front of a room of 200 people (which is probably more effective than listening to someone talk about anxiety, honestly. I’m still not convinced that one wasn’t a joke by the professor).
But this sounds like some bullshite that I would’ve either walked out on, started up the usual “can you believe this shite?” Group text/chat, played a game through, rolled my eyes at, and then bitched about with the guys at the bar later that week after we weren’t tested on it because everyone acknowledges it’s total bullshite but understands that the schools like to virtue signal pretty hard.

I hope that student is identified and expelled.
Then I hope he/she wins so much money in the lawsuit that college is no longer necessary for them.
