And this is why membership choices are so important for an organization like this.
Each member who comes in has a say in future members and their actions can damn the entire organization.
One class of poorly chosen members can frick an organization for years, if not permanently.

He actually wasn't offered a bid during formal rush, but instead tried again during Continuous Open Bidding (COB).
Members are anonymously speaking to the press (because they aren't allowed to speak on behalf of the organization, even though this dude is...) saying that the sorority pressured them into voting to admit the man.

These women are going to have to stand up. If they all quit or leave the house, the "sorority" of one dude can figure out how to support the chapter based off his dues, or the national organization can choose to prop it up if it's that important to them.
If even one woman voted NO, she needs to speak out as they were promised it would require a unanimous vote to admit the man. If not even one of them was brave enough to vote NO, sorry that's on you and you have to live with what you voted for.

Despite the apprehension of some members, the recommendation from the chapter’s president and vice president of standards has been to “drop out” if you want the sorority to remain exclusively female, the source claimed.
“It’s 2022. If you vote no, it better be for, like, literal issues with that new member or else it’s homophobic,” another member allegedly said.
“Regardless of what your political views are, our Kappa values are acceptance and kindness so if that is something that you disagree with, that’s not in line with Kappa values,” one member allegedly said at the meeting, according to the KKG source.
While the membership chair assured members that the vote would be anonymous, and would have to be unanimous in order for Langford to be admitted, the online ballot asked members to identify themselves with their emails, which intimidated women who felt uncomfortable with a male joining the sorority.
“We also don’t know if he had enough votes because they haven’t told us that,” the source said.

The part I found interesting is that they supposedly needed a unanimous vote to accept them as a member but no accounting of votes was made to the membership.
That screams “the fix is in”.

He doesn’t want to be a part of the Greek system. He wants to destroy the Greek system out of jealousy.

I prefer this photo, I don't know why they cropped it. We don't want to "Taco 'Bout Mental Health" anymore?

The members tried to hold a secret meeting at someone’s house without inviting the trans person so they could discuss it.
The trans member found out and reported the fraternity to the DEI administrator. The frat was put on probation and the leaders of the planned secret meeting were kicked out of the frat.
Oh this happens to businesses. Hire a trans person but have male and female bathrooms and see what happens.

A lot of organizations have media rules for a reason.
This sack of shite being exempt from them makes this whole thing a farce, though.

If I’m being completely honest, female to male trans seem more harmless to me than male to female trans. But they’re all mentally unstable and need help.

FTM is probably more harmless but, in general, if someone misrepresents themselves, there WILL be an interest in finding out the truth and determining if membership should be revoked.
Granted, on my campus there have been multiple cases where the alums of the organizations tossed out all the active members and replaced them wholesale with groups trying to organize a fraternity colony. At least one of those was, apocryphally, due to activities several members were found engaged in.

No taco and no mental health on the far left.
Am I talking about the member or the left in general?
