True. BUT the national sorority apparently threatened the membership of anyone who voted against its membership.
So the problem isn’t that an outside group made KKG take them but that KKG nationals basically strong armed the chapter into taking them.

There was an insane amount of frickery going on here by the Chapter officer, alumni advisers and National Reps. They barely mentioned Langford's proposed selection until the last minute and then:
quote:
At the Chapter meeting on September 19, 2022, members were told that they would vote
that day on Mr. Smith. Sorority rules prohibit discussion during the voting process, but this
restriction was not followed for Mr. Smith. Several members of the chapter, including the
President, the Membership Chair, and the Vice President for Academic Excellence, spoke prior to
the vote. Each made almost identical statements that, upon information and belief, were
coordinated with national Sorority officials. Each speaker stated that members could only vote
against Mr. Smith if they could articulate specific concerns about his personality. If members had
not met Mr. Smith, then a "no" vote was evidence that the member was a bigot. Kappa members
understand that bigotry is a basis for suspension or expulsion from the Sorority. The Membership
Chair, however, had concealed the only opportunity to meet Mr. Smith. Upon information and
belief, the Membership Chair, in conjunction with national Sorority officials, did so because it
would permit her to threaten members if they did not vote for Mr. Smith.
132. The members who discussed Mr. Smith at the chapter meeting repeatedly referenced
"transphobia" and "homophobia." One officer stated, "[r]egardless of what your political views
are, our Kappa values are acceptance and kindness so if that is something that you disagree with,
that's not in line with Kappa values." When other members asked to respond, the chapter President
stated, "No, no discussion." Even after this statement, the chapter President continued to recognize
other members to speak about why Kappa Kappa Gamma had to admit Mr. Smith. Statements
included: "You should basically be voting yes for everyone unless they truly go against Kappa's
values." "It's 2022. If you vote no, it better be for, like, literal issues with that new member or else
it's homophobic." "If you have something to say about this that isn't kind or respectful, keep it to
yourself." "If your only concerns are about [Mr. Smith] living in the house, you are thinking too
far down the road."

If they would argue the right case they would be able to deny who they want.
SCOTUS has ruled in a case with the Boy Scouts and Augusta National that they have the right to association
I think the national sorority can keep the wording that they're inclusive to all if they have at least one of their chapters to accept a tranny in it without it being forced.

Thanks for confirming that you went to a different link to get your quote.
It's from the linked article, you fricking dumbass. The paragraph I posted from the complaint just expounds more on it.

And Wyoming’s chapter wound up with Steely Dan up their arse, sans lube.

Maybe I’m just a contrary a-hole, but I would have probably voted no and been VERY open about the fact that attempting to strong arm a member through is enough reason to vote no and to potentially leave the organization, talking to the press about it if they tried to demonize me.

Maybe they're trying to instill the hatred that they desire so much.

This is an amusing maybe frustrating story on its face, but reading through the complaint there was an incredible amount of bullshite done by Nationals and alumni to push Langford through. Which is sobering. 23-cv-00051.

Hey bigots, just because he has a dick, testicles, and a Y chromosome doesn't mean he isn't a girl. Didn't you hear what he said? He said he's a girl!

After Jane Doe I raised further concerns, she was brought before a disciplinary hearing.
Chapter officers read prepared statements that they had discussed with Sorority officials and
provided material so Ms. Doe I could "educate" herself. One chapter officer spent the entire
hearing texting with Sorority officials on her phone. The material given to Ms. Doe I included the
"Guide for Supporting our LGTBQIA+ Members." Ms. Doe I was threatened with fu1iher
discipline if she did not agree that Mr. Smith is a woman or questioned whether his vote complied
with the Sorority's rnles. When Ms. Doe I asked questions, she was told "that's what we are
supposed to do now." Witness IX has also been threatened with discipline if she does not agree
that Mr. Smith is a woman.

Jane Doe I is going to end up owning the chapter and national organization.

That is just it, they dont have to be inclusive. They were founded as a women's organization and can stay that way but cave to pressure

The Decatur and retardzana klan didn’t participate in this thread.

The national organization is the problem here, they are strong-arming the chapter and they can pull their charter if they don't do what nationals orders them to do.
The only way to fight this would be wealthy and well-known alum to publicly speak out against them, revoke any financial support and denounce the national organization. But the alums include women like Ashley Judd and Meghan Markle, who are probably celebrating this if they weren't the ones that proposed it to nationals in the first place. I'm not finding any alum that would be likely to take a stand so I guess actual KKG sisters can kiss their organization goodbye.
All current members should stand up for themselves though and quit paying dues and housing to an organization that is blatantly against them. Resign and move out at the end of the semester, let the woke national org figure out how to pay their own salaries and support their houses.

Looking at the high profile members, I have a feeling that Sen Kirsten Gillibrand (Dumbfrick-NY) may be an alum in the middle of this.

It’s sad that more people aren’t pushing back (or being encouraged to push back) on this stuff at the ground level. Start making a big stink and stir about it and FORCE the hands of the greater organizations pushing it.
