Remington headstamp on the case and despite the somewhat low resolution on the photo you can see the somewhat blunted nature of the projectile's tip.
This is a Remington Cor-Lokt soft point round. It's SPECIFICALLY designed to deform, slow down, and prevent an exit wound. Available at literally every single gun store and sporting goods store that sells ammunition.
In fact, 16 out of the 17 .30-06 varieties manufactured by Remington use some type of expanding, deforming, or fragmenting bullet. Only ONE of their products uses a full metal jacket projectile that could/would be expected to leave an exit wound.
Here's a clip of them sitting in my desk.
This has been the most easily debunked claim of their entire web of lies and it's really mind blowing considering this is exactly what you would choose for an assassination.
But yeah, definitely keep getting all your information from the DEI hire and the Portland pizza boy. I'm sure they know more about this than I do.

Don't forget all of the ballistics experts here on TD.com who told us they shot 3 deer over their life with a 30-06 and there was barely any meat left on the bones.

No exit wound expected?
Are you serious? I would say that 90 %
of the PSP Core Lokts I’ve shot deer up
to 230 pounds had an exit wound.
Several hundred Whitetails.
And at least that many hogs.
I’m not participating in the cause of death debate in the Kirk assassination.
I’m saying this isn’t the gotcha you think it is.
Charlie is dead. He was killed because
he spoke the truth.

No, I follow Fenix ammo. Dude trolls libs nonstop

I wouldn't say they are specifically designed to prevent an exit wound. They are designed to create a larger, more deveststing wound cavity. A lower rate of exit is a byproduct of the structure being designed to dump all its energy upon impact.
A very minor distinction that doesn't change anything.

Yes.

No.
But, I’ve seen them not exit deer a number of times. It certainly happens. Bullets do crazy things inside the body of a mammal sometimes.

It was my very first rifle to use for deer hunting and it took care of business. Very familiar with that particular cartridge as well.
Very little meat is disturbed when I harvest my deer.

We have a lot of idiots here.
From early on they had video of him scoping out the place then returning in diff clothes.
These guys always forget the ring cameras and not changing their fricking shoes.

Once a bullet hits anything - I won't say all bets are off, but most are. Bullets can do unpredictable things and contact with any intermediate obstacle has the potential to drastically alter terminal ballistics.
I honestly did not think that would be a radical statement akin to endorsing the "magic bullet" theory (which I do not) in 2026.
