Something known as involuntary posturing. This is caused normally by serious brain injury but is also a result of severe spinal damage. Nerve impulses aren’t reaching the extremities.
Arms lock, he goes rigid then falls.
Every single “it can’t be that” is going to need to connect the entry point with sufficient force to shatter his spine and in the process damage his carotid artery and jugular vein.
Behind him doesn’t work, beside him doesn’t. No one with a functioning brain is going to try and argue some exploding microphone could have done it.
The obvious answer here is plain.

Did you look the the X user that posted that fake video clip? Look at where he posted some woman with blue contacts on in psychosis talking about the great awakening causing her to lose her job, family.

I didn't see that...I'd seen the theory of a palm pistol posted before but who knows?
