I’m just commenting on the guy who said he “looks normal.” Not commenting on what’s inside that stupid little brain of his.

Just listening to the presser

Family member said Tyler talked about Charlie coming to UVU and talked about why they didn’t like Charlie, and that thought he was spreading hate

Discord messages to his roommate stated “he needed to retrieve the rifle” and it was wrapped in a towel

Roommate let investigators take photos of his messages to Tyler

I’m not sure precisely the significance of this. It just strikes me that the world is started to seem very foreign to me as I get old.

I'm there with you. I'm 47 and the world I grew up in, in the 80s and 90s, is dead. It's nothing more than a distant memory.

I blame social media and I'm dead serious. Yes, the MSM Narrative Control Apparatus and Establishment corporations and Hollywood and academia and the music industry all played their roles, but social media allowed them a worldwide platform at their fingertips. They convinced people that what they see and hear on the internet is reality, and it created a subculture of insecure radical isolationists within another subculture of social justice warriors.

They're detached from reality. This is the result. Charlie Kirk is dead because of it. It almost killed Donald Trump.

I'm happy that this kid's father did the right thing and convinced his son to give up. And I'm sad for the father at the same time, because I want his son in front of a firing squad.

With the possibility of missing? Also, causing mass chaos which had the potential of causing someone to be trampled?

Holy shite. You’re not even a good pretend attorney. Give up the gimmick. Pretend to be a doctor or something instead of pretending to be an attorney. Your schtick is done.

If this happens, I don't realize how scary of a precedent you realize you're setting for the future.

You're basically saying the law can be ignored if the mob yells loud enough, which defeats the entire purpose of having written laws

To me, it’s amazing that he was even able to escape campus & make it back to his house 260 miles away. I guess the old man was a good distraction

This is inaccurate. The risk of the shot in that environment, especially with people behind him is more than sufficient. This is very clearly aggravated murder should the State want to charge it.

He’s shitty, yes. But, no, he’s not an attorney.

That cocksucker didn’t get past a middle school introductory course to the US Constitution. He told us a few weeks ago that churches need permission from the government to hold worship services.

I didn't do a deep dive into it, but I did see fairly recent Utah headlines--- that a man was going to be executed by a firing squad, but it was halted because he had dementia.

Dude shut up. You’re a lawyer

You know that death penalty cases get automatically appealed etc, they don’t leave any room for error now

No, what people are saying is that your analysis is completely, 180 degrees, incorrect. So your further logical steps are similarly fatally flawed. Criminal defendants get charged and convicted of battery with a deadly weapon when they stomp on people's heads with shoes. The State can charge aggravated murder and prove it should they choose to.

ETA: If the evidence shows he had any help from anyone else that could be considered renumeration for the act, that would provide an additional basis for aggravated murder.

I believe the community will push for the death penalty.....

but is can see Charlie's wife asking that the death penalty be take off the table, as Charlie wouldn't have wanted this to happen....

Charlie spoke of "love" not hate
