You said he will die the role of the Muslim mahdi. I’m saying that can’t be true because their mahdi will never appear because he’s not a real person, entity, being, thing etc.

muslims "love" "jesus".

He didnt say they love Christians, he said they love Jesus.

Which they do, because for them he's like Peter or John for Christians.

They just don't think he's who Christians think he is, which of course is wrong, but its by definition what they believe.

What are all the things Muslims love about Jesus? Can you name any?

I never thought I would see the day when supposed conservatives defend the pedophile religion that wants Christians dead.

How many Christians have been killed by Muslims in Africa?

How many Christians were burned alive by the Muslim brotherhood?

How many terrorist attacks have been committed by Muslims in our own country?
.

A Muslim could use your logic and say that Christians have killed way more Iraqis and Afghans ("Muslims") than Muslims have killed Christians?

Just internet - influenced, uncritical, brainwashed drivel.

Yes there are crazy, and fanatical Muslims causing harm to Christians. But painting 2 billion people wth the same brush, is just plain lazy and ignorant.

If they were all the same, why would Iran attack the UAE? Or why would Pakistan try to broker peace? Or why is Saudi Arabia inclined to overthrow the Iranian government?

Hes a prophet of Allah according to the Koran. They just believe we Christians misunderstood what he was here to do and his role moving forward.

Do Christians love, respect and revere Paul or John?

Im not sure why this is causing confusion.

Yes, presumably. It would also most assuredly be based on how they are portrayed in the New Testament. That's why I'm asking specifically WHAT it is about Jesus that Muslims might love, respect, and/or revere.

Is there anything out of the New Testament, or is it just whatever it is they concocted and see as somehow contrary to our understanding?

If it's just the latter, don't you see how it would be completely nonsensical for a supposed Christian to tout the fact that "Muslims love Jesus"? If it's something else WHAT IS IT?

Islam came centuries after Christianity.

They retroactively constructed their own version of Jesus. It is not Jesus.

Do we deny their roles and lives as laid out in the Bible?

This isn't a "misunderstanding"... it is a separate and apart religion dreamed up by a singular war-mongering, blood-thirsty pedophile.

Well genius, civilians killed in Afghanistan were the direct result of Taliban policies resulting in war with the US as was Iraq. The Ottoman Turks killed over 1 million Armenian Christians for the heck of it in the name of Islam as have hundreds of thousands of Christians and other non Muslims in southern Sudan. If you can’t understand the distinction between the two, that’s on you for being ignorant. It doesn’t mean you have anything resembling a point

No, I dont.

I think they're wrong, just as the Jews are incorrect to believe Jesus was a false prophet who is swimming in a vat of feces in hell and wrong to believe the pharisees who had him killed were entirely justified.

But I understand fundamentally that based on the Koran (which I of course completely disagree with but have taken the time to read the verses related to Jesus) they have a parallel understanding of who Jesus was, what he did and what role he will play in their end times which explains why they love him as has already been explained to you which would justify loving and revering the version of the man they believe existed.

You just refuse to accept it because you are only processing it from the perspective of a Christian and cant see past the fact that to our faith its a distorted and "concocted" understanding of the being that was Jesus Christ of Nazareth.

Lots of people respect Jesus.

Doesn’t matter.

Who do you say Jesus is?

If your answer isn’t God wrapped in flesh sent to die a sinners death on a cross only to be raised from the dead 3 days later triumphing over death, hell, and sin, offering freedom to all who choose to follow…. The it doesn’t matter how much you revere him.

He will die the role of Muslim mahdi? thats not even a coherent sentence. i dont know what you are trying to say.

Anyway, to clarify, the Biblical anti-Christ and the Quran's mahdi are likely describing the same person. The Biblical false prophet and Quran's Isa are probably the same person. Both books agree on several things like a one world government and religion in the end times, and persecution against Christians. My belief as a Christian is that Muslims are being deceived.

How do they know Jesus outside of what was written/spoken up to that point that Islam came to be?

That's like those who've said that Shakespeare was actually a woman... or that Cleopatra was black...

So, what you are saying is, neither Jews nor Muslims like the Jesus as portrayed in the only writings even close to being contemporaneous to his life, but since the Muslims concocted some version or understanding completely separate and apart from that 700 years later to shoehorn him into being a "prophet" of what they want to believe, and by all accounts completely counter to the contemporary accounts and understanding of what he was and what he did, they are somehow better?

And you don't see how twisted that is?

How did muslims come to define Jesus?

"Muslims derive their views of Jesus (Isa) primarily from divine revelation via the Quran and authenticated Hadith (sayings of Muhammad), rather than historical narratives known in 700 AD. "

Because a pedo prophet war monger said so. That's how.

Muslims are just brown Mormons. Mormons are just white Muslims.

Jew, Muslim, Mormon…. It’s all the same. False religion that Christians should be working to convert.
