Hugh Hewitt had a former military training guy on this morning talking about this city training stuff. Apparently one is going down in the DFW area soon.
He told a story of one he was a part of where they loaded up on military helicopters in San Diego, and landed on a helipad on high rise in downtown LA. They had rubber bullets and it was some kind of sniper training. They had to go down the first high rise, go to street level and go to another high rise. Go up that one and that gave them the view of their target which sounded to be pretty far off. At least they had to shoot over a highway to hit it. Was a pretty cool story.

Even this one that Art Bell—I mean Tucker Carlson—is hawking here is the same one from about 1997, just repackaged and updated, that claimed that the Red Chinese or other foreign troops were being sneaked into the country and were going to be allowed to invade the US. Then when Obama became president it was updated to be radical Islamists instead of Chinese troops. Now it's been tweaked to be illegal immigrants, to reflect the recent emphasis on stopping illegal immigration.
Y'all are as dumb as the climate scientists who continually predict the end of the world. It doesn't matter to either of you that your doomsday predictions never come true. You just forget about them (how many of those that I listed above had you forgotten about, but remembered when I posted them?) and move on to the next one.
And Tucker Carlson knows EXACTLY what he's doing. That guy laughs at y'all while doing the backstroke through a Scrooge McDuck-sized pile of money every night.
There's a difference in looking at the evidence and concluding that the Democrats made a larger than usual effort to stuff the ballot box during the 2020 election and that their targeted efforts may (or may not have) been what (barely) tipped the election.
But y'all can't stop there. It's got to be that Trump would have won in the most giganticest landslide ever but the Deep State just couldn't let that happen, so at some point during the afternoon of the election the Illuminati Lizard People shot everyone full of gamma rays and sent out nerve gas via chemtrails that rendered them neurologically incapable of voting for Trump. Biden otherwise would only have gotten 4 million votes, but he ended up with 61 million real votes due to the nerve poison and another 20 million manufactured votes.
I don't know why anyone who really believes the outlandish shite y'all believe would ever stay in the United States, or for that matter, would live on the grid anywhere. If I really thought what y'all claim to think I'd have to get off the grid and that LAST thing I would EVER do is post on the internet. About anything.

But I doubt the US military would have any more success against a domestic insurgency as it did in Iraq or Afghanistan.
Probably would not fair well as those for a couple of reasons. Many (even woke DEI) solders will hesitate on firing on US citizens, and more importantly they would be far out numbered (active duty solders are about 1.5 million, and if you just look at the number of people with hunting licenses, most of whom would possess a firearm, it was about 16 million last year).
The families of these DEI solders would live in fear of civilians burning down their houses with them inside or gutting like fish in their own front yards.
This is another example of the government thinking it knows how something will work out but being really wrong.

Agreed. Law enforcement is not going to save you either. Like-minded Ex-military vets and civilians are not going to band together in the event of hostility vs the population by the govt. As divided as our population is on the smallest of topics, there is no hope for people.
You are on your own. Keep your families tight and together. Teach EVERY person to shoot. Stock up on beans, rice, guns, and ammo. Start practicing living without electricity and running water for a day, then a week. If you can, build a cabin or bunker as far away from people, with as much timber on the land as you can afford. Dig a pond. Fill it with fish. Stock pile anything that might be used as currency once the petrodollar fails.
Fill a cistern with fresh water and catch rain water.
And never, ever allow outsiders in.
Or, maybe all this is crazy. If you think so, buy a new electric car and invest your money in the stock market. Next year is shaping up to be even better than this year for bidenomics. Trump will be convicted, and everyone will finally recognize how benevolent Washington DC really is. Those few that preach rebellion are merely fat, lazy, white slobs that will never risk their comfort. Rest easy and assured.

True, well trained Wokesters would still be a formidable opponent because they have the military hardware and command and control, but I think over a period of 6 months to a year the vast number of Americans who detest Woke Authoritarianism would become a real stumbling block for a Woke military.

I've been concerned about that for a long time - but since this 'diversity' shite got into the evaluation scenario that it looked like any enlisted man who holds to traditional American values were being ushered out of the corps.
They could very well end up with a bunch of neckbeards in dresses who would be more than willing to shoot down any old white cis gendered crackers.
