I think you are being very blind to the validation of a lot of our current American concerns.
Unfortunately I like most here, believe Putin more than our own elected officials these days.

I don't "demand" that Tucker confront Putin, but I also said I wouldn't be thrilled if all the questions were tailored to generating red meat for Tucker's audience (the current US sucks, Russia is not your enemy, Russia doesn't believe in trans ideology) - it's pretty lame.
This transcript, if true, would be that. Not fawning, but serving up exactly what Putin wanted to serve up to the exact audience he wanted to target.

Putin said very little in that transcript that most sensible Americans would disagree with, Putin is still a KGB thug but make no mistake, the US has plenty of Putin types employed in the US government/Bureaucratic State.

Remember folks. This guy was pretending to support a REPUBLICAN primary candidate, who was essentially pushing much of the same foreign policy ideals that Trump pushed for four years in office.

I grew up in the 80's. If you told me that in 2024 I'd believe the dictator president of the former Soviet Union over the duly elected POTUS, there's no way I'd ever believed it. No way.

I doubt I vote for anyone, until the GOP can get their shite together.
However my post was satire regarding the fact, the interview was a whole
bunch of America bashing basically... I will never join that crowd, even if my Party does. America before Party.

He gets into the details of the US/NATO assurances that NATO would not expand to countries bordering Russia, he also gives the inside baseball on the US meddling in Ukrainian politics/elections.
