Tucker Carlson rips Soleimani killing: 'Washington has wanted war with Iran for decades'

LINK
Carlson criticized Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's claim that the strikes were called for because of "threats in the region."
"Threats in the region? If you don't live in Washington, here's the translation: That would be in hostile Middle Eastern countries," Carlson said. "Places where American troops would never be in the first place, were it not for the insistent demands of nongeniuses like Max Boot and John Bolton."
"But never mind, no one in Washington is in the mood for big-picture questions right now. Questions, the obvious ones, like: 'Is Iran really the greatest threat we face?' and 'Who is actually benefiting from this?'"
Anybody see his show where he said this?

Wait, I thought Fox news was bad.

Tucker is wrong here
We killed this guy IN RESPONSE to something. We aren’t the instigator

Gotta give the dude this.
At least he's his own man.
He has literally ZERO media counterparts in that department.

I saw his show where he and a guest embarrassed themselves by actually suggesting that there was a danger that the administration would ignore China to focus on the Middle East.
After that I chalked up the entire show to bullshite.

I do agree with this part. The threat Iran poses pales in comparison to the progressive left. An enemy within is always a greater threat than an outside source and that's exactly what the progs are

His position on this is just ignorant. We killed a known Terrorist that was literally in the process of developing even more casualties. Tucker can eat a dick and shut the hell up on this one.

I don't like or dislike the guy. Never met him.
Thanks for your meaningless contribution to the thread.

We have been at war with Iran since the 1970s. We have been fighting it all over the ME. Time to either win this fricker or quit.
Posted on 1/4/20 at 2:37 pm to BayouBlitz
Tucker's pissed because we're probably going to get further bogged down in the ME yet the southern border is still a sieve and the drugs coming across the border are killing tens of thousands of Americans every year. He says the southern border is where the real war is and we need to win that war.

Tucker is truly America first unlike most of these cucks

Fox News most boring host.
Most times he's right and sometimes he's just too dumb to get the big picture.
He reminds me of Michael Berry.

And this is why they want him gone. It's not for controversial or offensive comments, it's that Carlson is an apostate on foreign policy. He is a loud and proud non-interventionist. But if you oppose permanent war in this country, you're blacklisted or defamed. Can you name another pundit on mainstream American news who generally opposes our meddling regardless of who's President? There isn't one.

Not the 1st time panicked and he will probably walk back some of his comments again later.

Tucker and Geraldo didn’t get the talking points memo. I thought Geraldo was going to fight the clowns on the morning show Friday. It looked like Kilmead was gonna have a heart attack.

You're asking if they're any other mainstream news personalities that oppose American military intervention? well, right now nearly all of the DimMedia is against Trump's military actions against Iran's terrorist network operations.

I'm so confused about "retaliation for storming our embassy and rocket attack killing an American civilian" = "permanent war". How does that work??
