It's difficult to ignore the NYTs because the articles they write get repeated by many national and local news outlets. Sometimes it's national news filler but most of the time it's national news narrative building.

reading this garbage and it struck me how this type of piece is so useful on so many fronts
there is Tucker being a tool of the MSM and being friendly with the enemy
there is Tucker using the MSM as a tool and spreading lies
there is Tucker trading internal FoxNews secrets

says unnamed media sources (other than Ben Smith from the New York Times) are using Carlson as sources. Those unnamed media sources wouldn't happen to be people like Malcolm Nance, Phil Mudd, James Clapper, John Brennon, or any of the other dozens of former intelligence agency officials that are now working in the media by any chance would they?

Tucker makes his living networking with people to gather and present information on network television. How right wingers can even imagine that he is some secrecy bound super spy is beyond delusional. He’s a media figure who works in national media. Trading information is what they do.
