Cops should be paid way more (up to double) but with that comes more education, psychological profiling, physical edurance, and discipline that is constantly tested.
Make it an amazing job that only the best can get if they work for it.
See nothing wrong with tax help but it cannot be more than what our men and women get who serve.

Nice thought. Now wake up and join the real world . Dreams are for sleep while in bed.

I think you are missing something here.
Cops and firemen are paid by city/parish via mileage (or special assessment) associated with property taxes they are generally not funded via congressional appropriations.
These people curently not help to fund themselves by paying federal taxes.

Go watch Trump’s last week’s interview with Tyrus from Gutfield. It was him who gave Trump the idea

Somehow I think you're a liberal dipshit concern troll and not a real conversative.

Or DMV workers.
I'm not even surprised any more.

This is such bull. This is in no way a true statement. If you think people's salaries in the fields have risen 40 to 50% in three years, you done found and are partaking in da blunts.

Time will tell. If I had told you, in 1870, that the Democrats would soon be getting 90% of the black vote you’d have said,

I mean that’s probably a negligible amount of funds. His tariff plan is far more libtarded

Are you comparing cops and firefighters to welfare queens?

Police officer salaries are terrible. how much are they paying anyways?
Depends on where you work. I pay more in federal income taxes than I do in housing. While the thought of not paying income taxes is enticing, the math will never hold up.
That having been said, something is going to have to be done to get quality people to be cops going forward. When I tested in the late-90's there were 200 people fighting for 9 jobs.....and that's when the job didn't even pay that well. Now we're paying 21 year old kids $75K while they're in the academy and they'll top out in 5 years at over $100K as a patrolman with no rank. Even with those numbers, nobody's showing up to test. My agency is going to be particularly screwed because I was part of a 3-year hiring binge and my cohort will be moving into mass retirement in 3-5 years with nobody willing to backfill our positions.

We would do well to start appreciating our public servants. Pay and training is a good place to start.
As a share of GDP, state/local taxes has gone up 20% over the last few decades and is now about 17.5%.
There are too many state/local "public servants" and they're paid too much.

Im fine with that. Everyone wants to complain about police...well they need to attract better people to become police officers
