It's a Herculean task and it's not easy to fire "civil servants" even if they think they are the masters.

Trump did try to expose and fix the corruption of our current president and it got him impeached and later defeated via a corrupt election.

so, you think he would not have been defeated by a corrupt election had he backed off Biden and Hunter?

these Swamp dwellers went after Trump before he was even inaugurated. the Rinos also went all in after the Trump win in 2016.

i think you have your facts mixed up with the lies from the mainstream media and the liars in DC.

besides, everything the Dims and Rinos and MSM did was manufactured. no truth comes from these bastards.

and they are still at it today.

I've said forever if Trump has a weakness it's in evaluation of hires and subordinates.

He puts too much faith in them and lets them flounder too long. He has too much faith in the people he hires, perhaps seeing their failures as a reflection of his own.

This is a dumb take. He took a retarded, sad, ineffectual republican party and gave them an identity. He is the literally the only reason that the rep party has any chance to fight against the bullshite artists on the left.

A vote in this UniParty® charade is a vote for the left or right wing of the CIA. The Potomac Cesspool can no more be “reformed” than a malignant cancer. If Liberty is to continue in this nation, it will come in some form of secession and nullification movements from the individual states.

If he wanted to really ensure that he wasn’t fricked with, he’d have abolished every single alphabet soup agency in America and returned the executive branch to what it was when the constitution of this nation was signed and ratified and then told congress to do their fricking jobs once again.

There are so many people in the swamp that the alligators are fleeing to Padre Island to get away from it.

Yeah, that’s it, right. Too deep is why he:

Never pulled out of Afghanistan
Never provided an alternative to ACA
Never bolstered Second Amendment protections
Never came through on promises of infrastructure improvement
Never did anything to lower prescription drug prices
Never did anything to rein in the CIA, FBI or NSA

I mean trump was a billionaire before being elected

Why would he totally blow up a system where he built a comfortable life?

The only people that are gonna “drain the swamp” are us, and this last stolen election showed we have no balls.

I didn't like Trump at all in 2016, but policy-wise he won me over. The problem in the end was that he was all swagger, not savvy enough about how politics really works, and he wasn't very good at articulating policy. I'll vote for him if he runs again, but (and this is going to be an unpopular opinion) I think we'd be better off with a guy who has just enough of Trump's swagger to be dangerous, but who is better at policy and staff management, like DeSantis.

Seriously? You don't think he has learned something from his first term and stolen election victory? You don't think he is the one person in the world that knows what he is up against and is going to go full kick arse once he is back in office? Do you think he does not know how he was played by those people making staff recommendations to him? You don't think he is the most incentivized person to end the swamp - seeing what is going on with the SDNY and the never-ending threat to his family?
