WASHINGTON, Oct 19 (Reuters) - President Donald Trump's approval rating fell to a record low as Americans worried about high gasoline prices and appeared ready to punish his Republican Party in the November 3 congressional elections, according to a Reuters/Ipsos poll that closed on Monday.
Some 31% of Americans approve of Trump's performance in office, down a percentage point from two weeks earlier and the lowest level in either of his presidential terms, the four-day poll showed.

Democrats lead Republicans 47% to 35% on congressional generic ballot, Reuters/Ipsos poll shows
Women favor Democrats 50% to 32% over Republicans, widening party's congressional advantage
Some 68% disapprove of Trump's handling of economy, including 37% of self-identified Republicans

Kind of hard to defend it honestly

This term has been pretty much a shiteshow

Nothings better

Everyone just seems to be hanging on by a thread

Who cares about all that, let's rename New Mexico. That will make things better.

This is the same polling outfit that has routinely under performed on Trump's approval ratings since 2016. Pardon me if I flush this poll down the toilet.

I still approve and for me....that's good enough.

Now y'all get out there and vote a straight R ticket in the midterms, and if we pull this off we can all watch the Red/Green Alliance come apart at the seams in real time.

lol Trump is the most beloved president ever. They were lining up along the side of the road all weekend to watch him drive by. And with the success of this term, which has been literally unbelievable, of course he’s popular. If you think it’s been a failure of a term, you’re easily propagandized

The most maligned person in history that's had a 24/7 shite storm of negative propaganda pushed against him for more than a decade, has a low approval rating? Gee who would have thunk?

Don’t worry we’re about to rename a state so I’m sure that’ll get things back on track.

I don’t trust any polls but there is serious Trump fatigue out there.

Tebow fatigue was real. So the above makes perfect sense.
